While they drove through Paris, they started to get chased by six photographers on motorcycles (Hindman). Those photographers would later receive blame for Princess Diana’s death. After the car entered the tunnel, problems arose. Henri Paul drove as fast as one hundred miles per hour as he approached the Alma tunnel. About thirty seconds later, Henri Paul crashed after losing control into the thirteenth pillar. With its horn blaring, the Mercedes S-280 rested against the wall of the tunnel (Garner). If Henri Paul did not drive at such extreme speeds through the tunnel, it possibly could not have happened. Sadly, two people instantly died in the crash. Henri Paul and Dodi Fayed died immediately. Trapped inside the car’s twisted metal, Princess Diana and Rees-Jones fought for their lives (Garner). Hope still remained for Princess Diana. As soon as the ambulance reached the scene, they delicately removed Princess Diana from the car. In his essay “An Essay Concerning Human Understanding” John Locke makes a connection between memory and consciousness and called this connection the memory theory. The memory theory states that if “a thinking intelligent being, that has reason and reflection, and can consider itself as itself, [and is] the same thinking thing, in different times and places” then it is continuously the same rational being has a consciousness (Locke 1959). Locke ties the consciousness and memory together by saying that “as far as … consciousness can be extended backwards to any past action or thought, so far reaches the identity of that person”; meaning that if a person has memories of their existence and actions they are the same person. Locke connects the memory
The official theory is that Princess Diana’s unexpected death was caused by her injuries sustained during the crash. On August 31st, 1997, Princess Diana and her partner Dodi Al-Fayed left the Ritz Hotel in a Mercedes-Benz S280. This conclusion was arrived at by the Royal Courts of Justice in London, who after 23 hours produced the verdict that Henri’s ‘gross negligence’ contributed to the crash. Henri Paul was driving the couple whilst under the influence.
The first and most noticeable change which happened to the Disney’s princesses is the existence of woman of color as the princesses. From the first princess movie in 1937, Disney exclusively uses a White woman or a Caucasian woman as the princess - from Snow White to Belle, all of these princesses are White women. Though the notion of racial discrimination abolishment had been reverberated since 1950s in America, only on the sixth movie in 1992 the first colored princess, Jasmine, appeared as the official Disney’s princess. After Jasmine, impressively and consecutively, Disney releases three more princesses from colored women before using White women again as the princesses.

Diana and Actaeon is part of Titian’s “poesie” and contributes to a set of history paintings that portray subjects in an imaginative way. Rather than simply copy nature or provide a story, Titian delivers a representation filled with expression, filled with allusion. Though small details and items often possess symbolic connotations, Titian seems to include various degrees of detail to develop a foreshadowing effect (the stag head, the hunting scene, the various reflective surfaces, etc). He even forms an explicit connection between Diana and the Goddess Fortuna to suggest Actaeon’s unavoidable fate (Tanner 535-550). Titian also characterizes Diana by exploiting her relationship to the moon as a means towards representing her duality. And through

Many people remember Princess Diana for her very fragile and loving nature, however during an interview with BBC, she often remarks “I am a very strong person,” an ironic statement for someone whose life was full of challenges and disappointments (Elliot& Pederson, 1995, p.62). Beginning with her birth on July 1, 1961 to aristocratic parents Viscount and Viscountess Johnnie and Frances Althorp, Princess Diana (then Diana Frances Spencer) believed she was a disappointment to her parents because she was not born a baby boy, the desired heir to the Spencer estate. Feelings of disappointment continued for Diana during her parent’s divorce at the age of six and her father’s second marriage to Raine (a woman she despised) when she was 16. Shortly after her father’s marriage to Raine, Diana failed her “O-levels” (or college placement tests), and was sent to a Swiss finishing school to develop her passion for skiing rather than focus on academics. It was based on this new sense of freedom that caused Diana to exhibit problematic behaviors, such as relentless stubbornness and lying, as well as early symptoms of an eating disorder (Elliot & Pederson, 1995). Thus, it is the purpose of this paper to examine how the events of Diana’s life in conjunction with psychological components contributed to her development of bulimia nervosa.
