Princess Diana Princess Diana, also known as Princess of Wales was born on July 1, 1961 at Park House near Sandringham, Norfolk. Her parents, who were married in 1954, were separated when Diana was 13 years old in 1967. Their marriage was dissolved 2 years later in 1969. Diana's mother later married Earl Spencer, who was the Countess of Dartmouth in 1976. Diana was living with her dad with her siblings Sarah, Jane, and Charles. She lived there until her grandfather, Earl Spencer the 7th passed away. Then, they moved to the Spencer family seat at Althorp, which had been there since 1508, in Northampton shire. Her first school to attend was a preparatory school called Riddlesworth Hall of Diss, Norfolk. In 1974 she went to West Health, near Seven oaks, Kent as a boarder. While she was attending there she showed a talent for music (she was a pianist.) In 1977 she left West Health and moved on to finishing school at the Institute of Alpin Videmanette in Switzerland.
