Life events can change the directions of a person’s life. It can have impact on their physical, social, intellectual and emotional developments in many ways. There will be predictable and unpredictable life events in an individual’s life. Starting school, retiring from work, getting married, and becoming parent are the examples of predictable life events in a person’s life. Predictable life events means, it is the major events which a person expects will happen. The unpredictable life events means, it is the major life events that a person does not expect. Death of loved one, losing your job would be the examples of unpredictable life events in a person’s life. Now I am going to write about the predictable and unpredictable life events happened in A.R rahman’s life. Unpredictable life events A .R Rahman lost his father at the age of 9. He wouldn’t have expected this. About his father’s death his sister said that "What happened was that my father fell sick and there was a 'Peer Sahab' (priest) who said that he would cure my father through prayers. But my father decided to go ahead with the operation even though the Peer Sahab told us not to."So they wouldn’t have thought they would lose their father. He would have had to struggle a lot for income. For the income, he had to rent his father’s musical instruments. It would be the unpredictable event that he had in his life. It would have affected his physical, emotional, intellectual and social development. He wasn’t able to have much of an emotional attachment with his father. He would have learned how to control his emotions and also how to express his feelings. The intellectual development would be, he would have learned to become more independent. He would have started thinki... ... middle of paper ... ...the troupe, he would have got many opportunities to show his talents and develop his skills. The social development would be, he would have made so many new friends and also the communication between audiences. He would have improved his communication skills from his experiences. He would also have improved his relationships with the troupe members and also it would have been his second family. The physical development would be he would have started thinking about his health like; he would have started thinking about foods that help him to perform his tasks. He would also have avoided the foods and drinks that affect his voice. He would also had to travel a lot for his music performance and which could affect him physically like, as he busy, he might skip meals so he won’t get enough nutrients and minerals and also he won’t have enough energy to perform his tasks.
About 60 years ago, our society here in the United States was different then it is now. African Americans suffered from injustices by law after the abolishment of slavery. Great leaders stood up to these injustices as their lives took precise paths that lead to a revolution they had a vision in. In the first two volumes of the March trilogy by John Lewis and Andrew Aydin, we see their fate's play out in peculiar ways and their dreams of justice eventually fulfilled. Fate and Dreams play key roles in several events in the text that has resulted in society as we know of today. The concept of being “woke” is emphasized throughout the text, Lewis’ destiny had the opportunity to go awry at critical points in the text, and John Lewis and Dr. Martin
Determinism and free will are incompatible. The events in people’s lives are already chosen for us, or determined. The expected behaviors of people are explained by natural laws and by experiences that they were exposed to. But this viewpoint does not explain people’s intuition. Although, there is a chain of physical causes that lead into people’s intuition.
In conclusion, loss of someone proves to be unavoidable and sparks pessimistic and aggressive feelings that damage us, leaving us to fend for ourselves as seen in the double deaths of Kamal and his father, and the murder of Hassan. Death is not always peaceful and does not always bring along an optimistic life- changing moral; it can lead to insanity or guilt that we cannot do anything to save them. It is unpredictable, but lies in front of us, and it truly tells us to cherish others, but ourselves as well. We let our own feelings get in the way of practical thinking, but we must learn to adapt and know how precious life is.
Unconditional love can be described as a pure affection bereft of circumstance. It is a true positive regard of others that bares no judgment. In a sense, unconditional love has no boundaries. In the film What Dreams May Come, the boundary between life and death fades and a family’s bond is tested. Tragedy by tragedy, unconditional love and guilt play major roles in the defiance of the laws of death. Chris Nielsen, the main character of the film, travels to the depths of the afterlife to find his beloved wife Annie and restore his family. In an epic journey that questions the very fabric of reality and faith, the Nielson family overcomes all odds and is reunited in the end. Throughout the film, unconditional love is represented in the Nielson’s love for their children, despite their faults; furthermore, this is continually shown with each death that claims a loved one from the family. This film is realistic in that unconditional love is seen beyond the screen and in our own lives.
“Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.” said John F. Kennedy. Most people today have less concern about the purpose of lives. This lead to the the three questions which set by Dr. Clayton M. Christensen in July 2010 on the article named “How Will You Measure Your Life?”. The first question is will you happy in your career?, Is family the source of happiness? and Will you stay out of jail?. All these questions help us to think more about our “lives”. In the article, Christensen divided the topic into six parts and all parts are essential. In my point of view, I found that the most interesting topic is “Create a Strategy for Your Life.” because the clear purpose helps us to identify the meaning of life, create success and stop wasting time.
Amir begins his life as a meek boy who desperately clambered to earn his father's’ affection. He was a cowardly, selfish, short minded boy who would even stab his childhood friend in the back for a slim chance at bonding with his dad. He was outshone by his best friend, who would stand between the bullies and Amir, and fight Amir’s battles for him. His father noticed this, and told Rahim Khan “A
Some people believe that all of their actions are predetermined; almost as if it is set and stone. On the other hand, others believe that you make your own actions and decisions. The story of Oedipus Rex is one of the best examples for this because Oedipus is faced with the impending truth of his foretold prophecy, but continues to try and avoid it through his own choices. No amount of running and hiding could free him from what he was always going to be condemned to; killing his father and sleeping with his mother. In the end, it was fate that led to his downfall, and fate that controls the lives of people.
Everyone has a special event that determines our life journey. This event can give us identity, happiness or even pain and sadness. The special event that changed my life was deciding to play basketball because basketball helped me find peace, happiness and gave me identity. When I was ten years old my grandfather succumbed to cancer. His death created hatred inside of me.
Many people are confused when asked about fate and destiny. Through an extensive interview of five young adults, I was able to cover a basic understanding on this topic. Three of the subjects in question were generally unsure of how much free will is available, if choices are true or forced upon them by a higher power. The forth believed that destiny has no effect on life. To counteract this variance basic information was given.
persons’ life can stick with the person throughout their life like a thorn in the side. The event will every so
Imagine growing up without a father. Imagine a little girl who can’t run to him for protection when things go wrong, no one to comfort her when a boy breaks her heart, or to be there for every monumental occasion in her life. Experiencing the death of a parent will leave a hole in the child’s heart that can never be filled. I lost my father at the young of five, and every moment since then has impacted me deeply. A child has to grasp the few and precious recollections that they have experienced with the parent, and never forget them, because that’s all they will ever have. Families will never be as whole, nor will they forget the anguish that has been inflicted upon them. Therefore, the sudden death of a parent has lasting effects on those
I have loved puzzles for as long as I can remember. There have been many spring breaks at my grandparents figuring out how every pile fits together, first by separating pieces into piles, such as distinguishing the sky from the ground. There is something fascinating about how all the little pieces end up creating a greater picture. This is relatable to my worldview. By separating views into different pieces of my puzzle, the end results in a large picture of how I want to go through life. The pieces of my worldview sometimes overlap, similar to an ocean and the horizon meet, where it can be hard to distinguish one without the other. Even if the pieces don’t always connect, like the sun and a pink beach bucket, the larger idea is how they are incorporated to make the one final picture. The piles that I separate my life view into are how I want to live, how big my world is, and how can I serve others. Also, how faith fits into my puzzle as well as science, and finally why it is worth making my life puzzle.

Short-term results of the experiment are that he is now going to record his music, the long-term results of the experiment are just speculation at this point. My guess, however, is that it will improve his performance to have an audience. He also knows that his big sister admires his talent. And he probably thinks I am a bit strange… But really, what little brother doesn’t think this of his older
My overall personality can be concluded as “unpredictable”. This is so because my personality has been continually changing throughout my life. Firstly, during my early and middle childhood i was a humble and accepting person. My culture and environment greatly influence my personality at this age because the elderly both in my family and community had a big role in nurturing me. I did what they told me no matter what it was, because i was raised to believe that the elders know what's best for me.
