The importance of parents to remain constantly involved in the life of their children in regards to education is paramount to the success of the child’s education. As education provides the foundation that is needed in personal life as well as career, motivation is more apt to appear in the behavior of children with the presence of involved parents. More and more today, the support and guidance that is needed by children are becoming essential. Children may not understand the severity of how important education is until parents are able to discuss the unlimited possibilities that exist when education is placed as a priority. The influence that a parent has on a child by constantly being involved in their education often helps the child to not only meet the standards in education but exceed the standards. Giving parents the opportunity to volunteer in the classroom is a benefit for teachers, parents, and children. The teacher is able to illustrate the classroom activities while the parent is in the classroom. Any ideas or questions that the parent may have at the end of the session could provide innovative ideas that the teacher could implement in the curriculum. Children are able to see their parents participate in their educational studies which motivates students to improve their behavior and achieve higher grades which in turn could lead to better opportunities in career and personal life.
