One in every five people have a disability. That’s about 20% of our population, in the United States alone. That’s quite a lot, believe it or not. Those with disabilities should be treated better because of their past treatment, and the barriers they face, and the disabilities we may or may not see. Not everyone who has a disability uses a wheelchair, as many people have an invisible disability rather than a visible one. An invisible disability can be defined as a disability that is not as easily seen as a visible disability.
