Have you ever wanted your delivery to come faster and to know where it is at all times? With drone delivery you can track and know absolutely when your shipment will arrive. Companies that have drone delivery allows you to follow your online purchase as it flies to your house. People will not have to worry where it is or how much longer it will take. It will make your online shopping super easy, but it does have people wondering if it is safe. Drones are safe for online purchases.
One way that drone delivery is safe, is air traffic management. The drones will be able to sense of other drones or animals that could be present in the air “such as technology capable of detecting and avoiding birds” (Amazon Prime Air). this will help prevent accidents, like drones crashing into each other or animals. Will also help get rid of superstitions about drones killing animals by running into to them.
The drones will also have mapping so it will bring your merchandise straight to you “airspace populated by drones

Scientists have been doing tests thinking about every possible situation to keep us safe from malfunctions the drones could possibly have “ Domino’s in New Zealand conducted trials of pizza delivery by drone for several weeks in November 2016, and is now awaiting permission from the government to run further trials” (Want a drone to deliver your online purchases? Move to iceland). Dominos was the first known company to start drone delivery. Companies are testing over and over again to make the drones as safe as possible for future users.
People have been having positive reactions from using the drones “people in London who have actually their deliveries done with the robot are generally very pleasantly surprised. They call it cute” (Airsafe). Drone delivery is being used everywhere. All over the world people want to try it out because drone delivery makes everything
When we think about the drones we always associated them with dirty works where humans don’t have to get their hands dirty . But in reality we can also use drones at many other places .For example we can use delivery drones to deliver stuff . Drones that are used for commercial purposes are called the commercial drones. Commercial drones are same as drones but they are smaller in the size. Commercial Drones are usually controlled by the user who can set the speed and height ,when drones take off. Delivery drones can handle up to -115 to 122 degree temperature and handle up to 40 mile per hour wind. Commercial drones are used for multiple purposes . One of their major purposes is to deliver the item . Amazon Ceo has currently stated that they are working on the Drone delivery system which will deliver the item within the half an hour after the pay . Commercial Drones are also used for surveillance purposes. Surveillance applications include livestock monitoring, wildfire mapping, pipeline security, home security, road patrol, and anti-piracy. They also used in commercial and motion picture film making. So basically we can use this technology to make the service faster .
“Government’s targeted killing of three U.S. citizens in two drone strikes, both in Yemen, far from any armed conflict zone.” (“Targeted Killings”). Drones or unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) is the technology that has taken war and fighting to a brand new level. The technology is believed to lower the use of troops and life loss in the wars that are happening today. Can that same technology be considered dangerous? Or are the side effects something that can simply be considered a small cost for something better? Drones demonstrate a growth in technological advances , and also the world. Although as brilliant this technology might be, it brings a threat to the people.
drones in order to deliver the drones will need fuel in order to operate, whereas delivery trucks
What are the pros and cons of drone delivery? Well, there aren’t many cons, but there are many pros. For example, forget overnight shipping when you could get your package delivered on the same day you ordered it by drone (just pay the extra $50)! Companies like Amazon and Google X (aka Google) have been testing out drone delivery. So, if you need your package the same day you purchased it (I don’t understand why you would unless you are a bad person and you forgot to buy a gift for someone), and you want to break out the extra $50 off your credit card, than this is for you! But, once again, it's in testing so yeah.
So commercial drones are use for many reasons. So therefore is mainly for our safety and our privacy. So get commercial drones don't wait for the last minute.
Three-thousand deaths have resulted in drone attacks and only 1.5 percent of these deaths were “high profile” personnel. Out of these deaths about 20 percent were either civilian or children. This statistic only account for the known drone attacks (Galliott, Jai, and Bradley Strawser). When drones were first invented its intensions were mainly for surveillance. Over the years they have been modified and upgraded to perform tasks that can even match manned aerial vehicles which leads to the first argument for drones. With the use of drones it limits the amount of soldiers in dangerous situations. Drones are controlled by a pilot that sits in a safe command room with a high resolution feed of the area around the drone. The pilots that control the drones use a joystick to control the drone’s main abilities. Many investigations have been placed on drone operators and the environment surrounding them and the investigators state that the control over the drones simulate a video game. Since the operation of drone simulates a video game it is said that it takes away our emotional connection of the horrific side of warfare. If emotions were to be taken out of warfare taking a life of another person would be inhumane and unethical.
Secondly, according to Bezos, 53% of all Amazon’s shipped products weight five pounds or less, and therefore, Amazon is planning on launching the delivery drone which can carry such weight within 10 miles of their Fulfilment Centers (FCs), and should greatly increase customer satisfaction because of a great decrease in delivery time (30 minutes delivery time) (Amazon Web Services 2012).
What the producers of the new delivery drone technology are not telling us is that this drone system could lead to possible dangers in our society. Drones are not 100 percent controllable when it comes to harsh weather and rough environment. Also, because the system is operated by people on the ground, in case of emergency, the machine itself might not be able to operate properly. Unlike ground shipping, it is difficult to implement this technology into our society. Rain, thunderstorms, lightening, or even strong wind can affect the drone’s ability to fly and it might lead to loss of delivery items or damaging purchased
Though drones may appear small and simple, their abilities are vast, and their potential as warfare progresses is
Some of the most common misconceptions about drones arise due to the lack of knowledge about what drones are. A drone is a remote controlled, pilotless aircraft that can be used to survey an area, conduct stealth missions, and deliver supplies into difficult to reach areas (Drone). Unmanned aircrafts are also, contrary to popular belief, not solely machines that kill without even a thought to who is being fired upon. They have proved to be effective surveillance units in areas that may be dangerous for manned aircrafts to fly, along with the potential to be reliable delivery units (Drones). With the new delivery capabilities, the time it takes for packages to be delivered across long distances could be cut down to a matter of hours...
Another name for drones are Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVS). These are “aircraft either controlled by ‘pilots’ from the ground or increasingly, autonomously following a pre-programmed mission” (Cole 4). Even though there are many unique types of drones, but they usually fall under two main categories: ones that are armed and equipped with missiles and bombs and others that are used for surveillance. In the past couple of years the use of drones has increased dramatically. The reason being because “unlike manned aircraft they can stay aloft for many hours and are flown remotely so there is no danger to the flight crew” (Cole 13). There are drones that can actually fly over more than fifty hours. In countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq, the Predator and U.S Reaper are physically there. Cause of the power of technology th...

In the United States, people worried that drones would be used near their home because they equip with a camera and that make people feel restless or uncomfortable when a drone nearby. A lot of people don’t realize that drones flying around neighbor are not much,
But it is also a fact that this century is also trying to use this UAV technology in a different perspective, away from war or destruction and is hoping to create a new series of real achievements by deploying it. Especially, it goes true for Business sector which can add quality service badge on its shoulder by using it in a way more productive, economic and fruitful for mutual benefits.
Drones are an emerging technology that has countless benefits and a myriad of intangible side-effects. I will clearly explain how drones effect on our lives by exploring the Social, Cultural, Political and Environmental impacts drone technology presents in our lives today.
