Why avocados should be part of your healthy diet?
Avocado is one of the most unique members of the fruit family. While most fruits are a source of carbohydrates, avocado has been found to contain high quantity of healthy fats. Many studies done on avocado have proven it to have powerful and beneficial effects on our health. Hence, avocado seems to have had a tremendous increase in its popularity the world over. One of the recent examples is when there was a nationwide shortage of avocado in Australia, in the beginning of 2016, due to the very high demand.
Still, there are many out there who still associate this fruit to terms such as “fattening food” and worry about whether to include them in their diet. I am here today to breaks such myths

Avocados are super nutritious and offer in them a wide variety of nutrients to us, including 20 different kinds of minerals and vitamins. Plus, they are low in saturated fat and also do not contain cholesterol or sodium, which is an added advantage.
2. Avocados contain lots of potassium. In fact, they even supersede bananas in this area, often containing more quantities of potassium than bananas. Want to reduce blood pressure? Then, avocados are your best friends!

I newly found out that every “One ounce of chile contains as much as 20,000 units of Vitamin A, which is twice the minimum daily requirement” (19). Which is surprising for me because ever since I was a child, my thoughts about chiles is that it only gives spiciness to a food. I didn’t know that a chile has something more to give. I also discovered about the jalapeño that “One hundred grams of Texas green chile contains 235 mg. of vitamin C while a California orange has but 49 mg” (19). Its an astounding and shocking because of the revealing information that jalapeños gives more vitamins than the oranges. Now, I know that not only oranges are good supplier of vitamins, but jalapeños also are a good source of vitamin C and also vitamin A which essential part of our body. In addition to that, Burciaga mentioned that “Calcium content in chiles is also high”(19) which gives me an additional information that chiles are also rich in minerals that is very important for our bone

In summary, two of the effective components which can prevent heart disease in edible vegetables have already been found—the lycopene and dietary fiber. They have various edible sources for people’s consumption. While much has already been learned about these two biologically active substances, much remains to be learned. It is also important to understand the possible influence of other biologically active components, as well as people’s daily diet to keep cardiac health according to the research.

Although, there have been many controversies in the United States on how it’s the largest country with the most obesity regarding children, which affects their health, many people are still going throughout their day snacking. Many people in America are having full course meals with thousands of calories in one sitting not knowing the short term or long term side effects that are going to take a huge toll on their lives. Food is delicious, but it comes with a secret behind the savoriness/sweetness.
Healthy and affordable food choices on the go or even just in the store is a huge and worldwide ongoing problem that of course cannot be fixed overnight. Fruits and vegetables are important components of our diet. We take fruits in raw state or in the form of juices, while vegetables are taken in the cooked form or sometimes as juices. Fruits and vegetables provide us carbohydrates, proteins and various other important organic compounds. The juices are rich sources of minerals, vitamins and many micronutrients (calcium, iron etc.) essential for us. For example, iron deficiency in humans causes anaemia and anaemic persons are advised to take leafy vegetables e.g. spinach and apples which fills up the iron deficiency.
Some of these additives do not add any nutritional value to the food and may even be harmful to your health. More nutritional factors to consider are the variety of the fruits and vegetables in our diet. Nutritional data shows that dark green vegetables (romaine lettuce, kale, broccoli, etc.), and orange vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and summer squash) provides more nutritional value than some of the less colorful vegetables. Here are even more nutrition facts. Some foods contribute to burning fat. Green tea contributes to fat burning by increasing the body's metabolism and increasing energy level. Foods high in protein are more difficult to digest so they require more calories in the digestive process.
