Do we take things for granted, how far have we come enough in our advancement in medicine? Its sad to know that nowadays drugs are a common item that we as people intake whether they be legal or illegal the benefits we receive from them can at times be positive and negative. Most know drugs can and will affect not only our body but your lives as well. We as people seem to do things at first without knowing the risk that comes along with doing and acting about certain ways which is essentially the process of learning but that’s also why we try to educate ourselves as much as we can so we know ahead of time what we are deciding. If we don’t stop and think about what we are doing then how would our society progress. The process of thought and the knowing of when something may or not be beneficial for you legal or not is often the best thing to know.
The most common drug that is often abused is of course weed which by other terms is what people know as cannabis or marijuana. Here in the United States the use of marijuana is mostly illegal in some countries but in two states it is legal for medical and recreational use but of course with that comes some restrictions like having a set number of plants one individual can grow also having that individual carry a license that says they can grow said marijuana plants. There are some other states that have marijuana as a legal drug but its either considered a crime to carry it with you or it is illegal and also most of the time the marijuana that is allowed is for medical use only. The overall rule of marijuana as a whole is that it is legal but with certain set laws that you have to follow depending on the state you are living that allows legal marijuana but that of course doesn’t stop the...

The little and lack of understanding of drugs is what has us as people constantly abusing them. Even if you try to educate people about the problems that deal with drugs they will still do them because of the benefits that they offer or just because they feel like doing them. From past experience I can say that schools at a young age teach students about the drugs but because the words and terms for the brain and areas that are affected by the drugs are so complicated I can see why kids at a younger age would not understand them. Maybe if we find a way we can educate our future generation we might be able to stop the abuse of drugs. Enforcing laws like we have on marijuana might help or lessen the abuse of drugs but we have to find way to help stop the abuse of certain drugs in order to prosper our lives and futures.
