Table tennis is extremely difficult to be at a professional level that's why you hardly ever hear anyone going further than the recreational level, the hand-eye coordination is insane! One of the best representations I could give to someone would be a 93-year old man that almost made it to the Olympic USA table tennis team. Although he has been playing table tennis for 86 years and first started when he was 7 years old he still could not make it past the recreational level. You would think that after 86 years of playing the sport you love you would accomplish your dreams, sadly after all these years he still hasn’t made it to the Olympics, his ultimate dream. Now his dream will forever be left unaccomplished and be left for the next hopeful table tennis player. If this guy who was better than most by far with a crazy amount of dedication couldn’t make it, this just shows how hard it is to make it past the recreational …show more content…
Well you are wrong table tennis is ranked one of the highest of all sports according to TopEndSports.com! I know that most of you guys think that most of you guys think that soccer is the hardest sport and I would know this from my recent poll which was lead by unknowledgeable soccer players; In the lead soccer had 25 votes out of 95 responses, in second was the kids who think that you cannot compare the sports which is wrong for my usage of the votes, in third was football which I can understand why is thought to be hard. Despite Minaret’s misleadings in the poll there was one student who happens to play on a varsity baseball team for our school that had the correct answer, his name is Hunter Thompson. The point of telling you my poll results is to let you know that polls are good but are very biased towards one's current sport, because at first I was going to use this poll to support my claim but then Mr. Vaughan’s soccer army took over my poll. After this occurrence I went to the internet to find some real reliable sources which told me that boxing was the hardest sport! This information was found from the site of ESPN. And I thought well there is probably a lot of boxers involved in those studies anyways. How many of you guys have even attempted the sport? I bet you could last 10 minute against my skills let alone a pro! After seeing no
(b) Markings. Racquetball courts shall be marked with lines 1 1/2 inches wide as follows:
The innovations in the material of the tennis racquet — the strings and the frame — have changed tennis throughout the years; thus, fundamentally changing the game by allowing players to hit with more power, spin, and racquet speed. Many star professional tennis players in the past and present use new technology to help take their game to new levels. The change from a wooden racquet to a carbon-fiber tennis racquet and the change from cow gut strings to non-gut synthetic strings have changed the way tennis is played.
When I go to a gymnastics meet and do really good, so I get that 1st place medal or trophy. It feels amazing, I mean the sport gymnastics is competitive and I sure do love competitive sports. The competitiveness gets you that rush of excitement. You feel nervous, but excited to get in there and try your hardest. Kids make better choices and have committed when they have the drawbacks of participating in competitive youth sports.
I can watch volleyball all day because of how much precision, aggression, and mental toughness is needed. Spectators may not always see that side of the sport, but as a player, I know that it takes more than just a powerful hit or serve to be successful. Slamming the ball down other teams’ throats or hitting someone in the face so hard that they fall over (my personal favorite) are great, but, unfortunately, they’re not always the smartest choice. It’s the technique and the years of acquired intelligence of the game that keep me engaged and coming back for more.
Some people may think that tennis is just a blow off sport, that it doesn’t take any talent, and anyone can do it. I started playing tennis about 4 years ago and I remember how hard it was to learn. One of my best friends and I started playing together and his dad had taught him how to play, when he first started teaching me I got really frustrated because I would keep hitting the ball out and I found out that playing and coaching tennis was much harder than it seemed.
Imagine playing a six hour tennis match! Well, the longest match ever played was six hours long; played by Vicki Nelson and Jean Hepner in 1984. (Seminara, 2009) The scoring for tennis is kind of difficult if not familiar of how the game is played. The way the scoring goes is “luv, 15, 30, 40, or deuce if the score is 40-40. If it is 30-30, then it is said like “30 all”. In order to win, the game is played best of three matches. The winner must win by two games. In my study I will be getting the speeds of a group of tennis girls hitting the tennis balls. My hypothesis is that the more experience you have in tennis, the fast you should be able to hit. Because there are so many varieties of elements in tennis, one should consider the difference in racquets, tennis shoes, courts, and balls
One of the most significant reasons that travel softball is better than summer league softball is the convenience for a travel softball player to make new friends and meet new people. A softball player has to be a very social person on and off of the softball diamond because coming together as a team is an important part of any sport especially in travel softball when a player might play with eight other girls that she has never met. The players have to communicate with college coaches if they have high intentions on playing softball at the college level. A travel softball player is constantly attending camps, clinics, showcases, and tournaments in different states which allows them to meet other athletes and coaches from across the United
Tennis is cruel and challenging, it’s a sport of variety. Tennis is a component of ranking, trust, partnership, teamwork, hardworking and much other knowledge. It teaches me how to build up trust with my partner, and also, recognize the dark side of this world, countless competition in everyday life. Everyone is trying to take your position, and only thing you can do is let them take it or fight for it.
If coaches were required to play all students high school teams would not be as good as they should be.”Once talent is skimmed remainder feel left out”. So what that means is that once players get cut or players they feel as if they are not good enough or if players are not played they sometimes feel as if they are not liked and will sometimes not try or give full potential to the team or coaches. “One way ensuring that adults are more responsible to the children they serve is mandating training and certification”. What this means is that if a coach is benching a player there is probably a reason and they are not just doing it for a random reason and they most likely would not have their coaching job if they did not know what they were doing.
The water polo sport industry is rather a very lackluster business. Although USA water polo has recently received to some public attention from its silver medal in Beijing, it has remained a forgotten sport. This is perhaps due to the lack of professional teams in the US and/or lack of a strong youth national development programs. Although water polo may be the most intensive and exhausting sports ever conceived, the water polo family always manages to hang on in some shape or form. As a water polo player myself, I see that my pathways to professional success is very limited as there is very narrow road. Many professional water polo players in the US hold second jobs and relegate to a coaching position to fuel their passions. However, the excess of water polo coaches concentrated in the senior high level creates an extreme bottleneck as most water polo seniors graduate without a future scholarship or career in line. The bottleneck traps many professional water polo players in a dire financial situation while leaving behind amateur players.
Tennis has given me the opportunity to interact with many different types of people. Playing on the tennis team at my school helped me meet new people who I would have never met in school. The experiences I have had with these different groups of people led me to change the stereotypes that I’ve had in my head. I’ve learned life lessons in tennis that go beyond what is being taught in school.
Foosball isn’t just a game, It’s the most terrific game. I will teach to be a pro at the best game ever, or something close anyway. It’s an extremely simple game. Just make your team kick the ball into the goal. It’s similar to soccer, but more superior. I’ve got three strategies I use to destroy my opponent. If anyone uses them, then you’re are guaranteed greatness.
The first thing and it is one of the most important factors in sports is physical fitness. Tennis players pay special attention to cardio vascular and running speed trainings to keep their bodies in good shape, and not be out of breath after the first game. Speed is necessary to change direction and reach the ba...
The sport of tennis has been an incredible journey that will forever change my life. Between my inspiring coach, my incredible family on the courts, and the individual I found deep within the game, I discovered a sport perfect for me. I plan to continue to play the sport all throughout my life, and show the love I have developed for tennis with my friends, children, and generations to come. The journey I experience everyday has not been effortless, nevertheless the lessons I have learned along the way makes my personal story so profound to me.
All in all there are several physical and psycological accomplishments that can be achieved by playing tennis. Firstly it improves physical attributes. Tennis involves a lot of running and sprinting with short burst interval. This allowed the aerobic fitness by burning fat and improving the cardiovascular fitness and helps in maintaining high energy levels. The short spirit and intense burst of activity during a point followed by rest helps the muscles use oxygen efficiently accomplishing the anaerobic fitness. It improves the ability to sprinting, jumping, lunging and speed through a series of side-to-side and up and back sprints to chase the ball. The use of legs and steps built strong leg muscles. It improves the body coordination since one has to move into position and then adjust their upper body to hit the ball successfully. The dynamic balance improves as well through hundreds of starts, stops, changes of direction and hitting on the run. The other biggest advantage is improving the fine motor control and the
