One of the recreational activities that I like to do is draw. This benefits me because it helps me become a better drawer. Recreational activities can benefit people because it helps them get better at what they are doing, such as, drawing. Everytime you draw something, you learn something new like shading, and adding texture. The same goes for doing something like running, if you like to run, every time you run, you get faster. Like I said before, every time you do something you get better at it. I have gotten much better at many things, such as drawing. The shading so you can see where the light is coming from, and texture to make it look real, especially the fur. Sometimes I will even add a shadow because that makes everything look better. You should probably stick to the hobby that you are doing because then you can get better at it, and learn more about it. If you don’t stick with the same hobby, then you will probably not be very good at it. Even though you can benefit from a lot of hobbies, it still might not be good for you, like gaming. When you play a lot of video games, you are basically just rotting your brain. I do really like binge-watching Netflix, but I try not to spend hours doing it. I like to do a lot of extrovert stuff, like playing with my friends, but I don’t mind being alone either. Some examples of things that I like to do on my own would be: drawing (obviously), painting, and reading scary stories. Another way that someone's hobby can be beneficial is that their hobby can help them find what they really like. An example is that when I first started drawing, I decided to try painting and found that I really enjoy that too. I have also done quite a few adult coloring pages, so I decided to try drawing
