“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” A quote from the famous writer, Mark Twain, and a quote that constantly aspires me to figure what I am most passionate about in this life.
As a child, I was naturally a curious being. I asked questions, wandered in to places that drew my attention; a seemingly dangerous trait that somehow shaped me as person. Because of this natural curiosity, I realize that I have managed to build an interest in the idea and the process of learning new things, especially when it comes to life sciences and her mother core, biology.

As a member of the medical team, I am required to build cooperation among my teammates when it came to dealing with matters relating to the eventgoers’ health, especially if there’s an emergency during the event. From that experience, I realized that this is exactly how I wanted to contribute to the society and to many people.
Finally, upon months and months of contemplation, by combining both my passions for science and society, I decided to pursue the life of a doctor.
I have several time proven success when it comes to my ability in my said interests and talents. For once, I am always able to secure a spot in my school’s top 10. I was also selected to represent my school to participate in a scientific paper competition on the utilization of food waste in a diet program, and gratefully, I have obtained first place in the MGMP English champion back in 2012 at the provincial …show more content…

With that being said, I need the best education from renowned institutions to teach me how to become this doctor I crave to be. I strongly believe the University of Indonesia is able help me to reach my full potential and become a gateway to help me follow my passion. Moreover, the University of Indonesia’s International Programme, which offers a double degree diploma, will be extremely beneficial for me, for it gives me excellent international-quality education and an opportunity to have an education overseas. This way, I am able to become an internationally-qualified doctor with an exceptional sense of global knowledge.
