My desire of studying biomedical sciences stems from my sciences interest, as it demonstrates a world not visible to the naked eye, plays a big role in everyday life. science specifically biology and chemistry are stimulating and challenging subjects , over the years of studying them ,my interest has increased because learning things about how our bodies function and how it relates to god’s creation is particularly interesting for me. I also find it very important because I’m Muslim. The biomedical science degree will open for me the door to learn more about the vast field of biology and its branches to a greater depth. I developed my knowledge in the science field by taking support classes in the lab at school; I was fascinated by how the body can function in different circumstances and the complexity of DNA, different organisms, chemical reactions, and also very importantly the mathematical aspect which gives me the chance to develop and use my logic and it inform me to new ways of looking at given problems.

My current area of interest is in the engineering and the biomedical field. After experiencing the rigorous AP Chemistry course, I was able to find my passion in the field of medicine. Furthermore, I had already developed an interest in engineering from my previous engineering courses and clubs, so a deeper understanding of what I wanted to do was discovered in a chemistry lab. Being involved with the Technology Student Association at our institution, I learned several different skills in a variety of technical fields. This led to my conclusion that I wanted to become a biomedical engineering. This field of engineering incorporates both the medical aspect and technical aspect of what I want to become in the future.
The desire to help people and make a difference in the society is what attracted me to the field of medicine. As a child I was always interested in science as a subject and participated in many National Level Science competitions. I volunteered for Urban Leprosy control program, which gave me an opportunity to interact with Leprosy patients and participate in activities aimed at educating people about the disease and disease prevention. It was during this time that I had a chance to closely observe the relationship between a doctor and the patient and I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in the field of medicine.
In addition, the Foundation course I am currently attending is a way of, not only developing my critical thinking skills, but also gaining and consolidating knowledge that I have not yet acquired from my previous studies. The fact that Biomedical Science uses laboratory skills, which I very much enjoy, with a deep study of all aspects of the human body and the organisms that influence it, made this course an obvious choice for me.

I have always been good at biology and mathematics. This is one reason why one of my many goals is to major in biomedical engineering. I am very excited to start studying biomedical sciences, and hope to use my newly learned skills in the medical field. From the structure of bones to how to the brain works, I’ve always been interested in human anatomy and neurosciences. I find the way that the brain controls the rest of the body and how it reacts fascinating. As I progressed through middle school I found out that I also have a very strong interest in robotics and building things. The human body is a multifaceted, intricate and exceptional biological artwork of which even to this day, is not entirely understood. Its constituent parts are comprised of many versatile systems working coherently to achieve the maximum potential output, whilst fundamentally, sustaining life. Furthermore, Biomedical Science remains to be the rudiments of how the world today has been shaped over time; advances in medicine are in the process of continual expansion, which can only progress through research and dedication. It is this expansion of knowledge which has inspired my desire to study Biomedical Science at degree level. I have always had an avid interest in the scientific world; for some time, I have always wanted to work in a healthcare environment, either in research or to benefit others directly.
I have always been the STEM kind of guy. Growing up, I excelled in math and science, both becoming a vital part of my educational pursuits. Math came naturally to me, it was easy to learn and apply concepts. In all the things I desire to pursue in my life math is a vital part of all of things as it is in most things in life. In regards to science I am attracted to biology in particular as it feels so broad. The study of genetics, cell signaling, and life has intrigued long since. I want to delve deeper in the preview shown to me in my books, and dig deeper toward something bigger. Using the internet, I am already advancing my knowledge by doing online courses on biology. These interests I hold dearly, shape what I long to do in the future.
“Doctors treat patients; Biomedical Engineers discover treatments.” Said a guest speaker in a biomedical engineering course I attended in Malaysia. These words opened my eyes to the possibilities of biomedical engineering. To me, biology is a map of systems that connects to form a cohesion diagram. Applying biology in engineering provides me with room to experiment and create which is something I found in every class in this course.
The variety and breadth of the topics covered within Biomedical Science hugely appeals to me. I have always had an interest in learning, especially when it comes to science and living things. In high school, I developed an interest in chemistry and biology. I took college level chemistry as a junior and was captivated by the fact that everything is composed of microscopic atoms that are continuously moving. Even more so, the thought of how these moving atoms combine to create molecules, which make up organisms that cause diseases and interact with the human body, completely enthralled me.
Biomedical Science is the broadest and most powerful area of medical related modern sciences, from identifying the cure of infectious diseases that could wipe out humanity to choosing the colour of the eyes of a newborn baby. It has the power to determine crucial treatments for patients, which involves a high scientific responsibility and dedication. It requires technical ability with an open mind for problem solving, as well as a depth of knowledge of many biological and chemical principles. My first approach to biomedical science was at the age of 12 when I became really interested in human biology; the basic functions I learnt in school encouraged me to research and find out more.
Learning is a continuous process and the day that you stop learning is the day that you start decreasing your rewards and lower levels of satisfaction. My ardent desire to acquire knowledge has motivated me to pursue higher studies at graduate level, and to take up a career in research in industry. I have taken this decision after carefully considering my academic background, profound interest in research and strong aptitude for problem solving.
I have always been intrigued by the field of science and that is the reason I pursued the field of Biochemistry for my undergraduate studies. How The Human body works and the different determinants that can affect one's health or a community as a whole have always been captivating to me. I wanted to emerge in a profession that is beneficial for me, my community, and the world I live in. I came to realize through various science courses and health care experiences that a career in health care was the best path for me to outreach my community and the world.
I develop and deliver technical solutions to collection of applications used by retail giants across the globe. My responsibilities have given me scenarios to put on my problem solving and interpersonal skills in real life situations. Frequent interactions with client aroused in me, an urge to get into a management consultant role. But, with time I realized that I have to upgrade my skill-sets and make myself more relevant and attractive to the job market. I also realized that I have to diversify my aspects of management such as leadership, entrepreneurship and finance etc. and Broad MBA will equip me with these skills and will increase chances of succeeding in my goals, manifold.
