Hi Torrie!
I hope your summer has been going well, and that you've been enjoying your recent promotion! Hopefully you've gotten to take a few more trips!
I wanted to reach out to you and see if PrinREI had any plans of hiring in Asset Management in the coming months. I have been enjoying my time at Rockwell Collins, however, the work I've been doing this summer is much different from what I did during my time at Principal. I have been in a more Accounting based role, which has been great as far as learning new skills, but I feel I can add more value to a firm in a Finance based role.
I'll be heading back to school in August, and will graduate in December with a Bachelor's in Finance and a minor in Management. I've attached my updated resume,
There are a lot of reasons why I chose to pursue pharmacy as my career and they all point to the most important reason: pharmacy is a great fit for my life and is something I have become increasingly passionate about. It started when I was researching careers with my parents and my dad suggested pharmacy and, simply put, it sparked my interest because at the time it was one of the few things I thought I would not hate doing. A healthcare career has always been where I put myself in the future, mainly because most of my family members are in the healthcare field. However, I have never been one that could directly help the wounded or deal with anything gory, but am very intrigued by the growing science of pharmacy. As I continue exploring pharmacy, the more I enjoy learning about it and feel like I could excel in this career.
Please send my regards to everyone! Hope to hear from you soon!
Nowadays, everyone has a Bachelor’s, it’s become the standard to have one. I feel having something greater than that is bound to catch the employer’s eye of wherever I might apply. The job I plan on taking with the double-major is the field of accounting. This job basically revolves around math which is the subject I’m best on. I plan on working as that for a while. I’d want to do it enough to clear any debt that I may have, or just to settle down. My preferred college for this is the University of Texas, as I’ve come to learn they have an excellent business program. After doing that for a few years, I want to go back to law school to get my law degree. I feel with the experience I’ll get from business and law I’ll be more than suited to be a lawyer from a company. Companies, especially those whom make any products for customers, get sued a lot. Having experience on both of these fields would make me excellent for this position.
I hope that you can see my education and future are advancing as we speak. This doesn’t mean I haven’t had a few bumps in the road, because I have. Actually, some of the bumps have unfortunately been financial aid. But, I am growing. It is a day to day continual experience of growth and it’s exciting for me to see where it takes me. Again, thank you for this opportunity and all the work you do as an organization.
Please discuss the following items in the order given. Briefly respond to all areas listed.
Whoosh!A bed whizzed by, surrounded by about 6 medical personnel. “What’s going on?” I thought immediately with apprehension. I knew whatever was happening it was not ideal. Ensuring I was not in the way, I stood on my toes to see what demanded so much attention. To my astonishment, I saw a coin sized hot-pink little girl. She could not have been bigger than two quarters lying side by side. She was struggling! Even with all the procedures the doctors were executing to save her life, she was performing the most work.
Good afternoon, let me just start by saying that the kindness, support, friendship, and love extended to me and my family during this difficult time has really touched my heart- we are sincerely appreciative!
Since the beginning of my academic endeavors, I have long cherished a dream to be a member of the social science research community, which gives our society progressive insights into human ecology. I began my undergraduate studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey with a passion for ecological justice and with the intention of majoring in environmental studies. Ramapo College’s progressive liberal arts foundation provided me with ample room to explore the multifarious array of social science courses. As I took more social science courses, however, my understanding of human social groups underwent a metamorphosis. As a result, I decided to pursue a degree in Social Science, with minors in the two fields I felt most passionately interested in, Women’s Studies and African American Studies.
To conclude, my organizational, attentiveness to details and effective communication skills is what makes me a great fit for the Human Resources Manager vacancy. My experience in the healthcare, criminal justice and information technology fields have allowed me to provide respect, dignity and compassion to all persons I have encountered through the delivery of consistent quality service. In order to evaluate my experience I have included a cover letter and resume as
Majored in accounting during my undergraduate at Michigan State University, I am determined to be an audit professional at a public accounting firm in Toronto upon graduation from MMPA program. To better qualify myself and equip myself with advanced accounting knowledge, I am dedicated to obtaining the CPA designation as well. In the next three to five years, I see myself being promoted from an associate to a manager who will lead a team and direct a project. Working as a manager in a public accounting firm will definitely sharpen my leadership ability and problem-solving skills, which are prerequisites for my long-term career objective. Ten years down the road, I want to work in the finance department of a public company as CFO or controller,

The three careers in finance that I have an interest in applying are Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Financial Advisor, and Financial Analyst.
My first goal is to continue my education by earning a Master’s degree in Accounting right after completing my bachelor’s degree. The MSU’s Accounting program attracts me for both its reputation and its career opportunities available for international students. It is my responsibility as a future accountant to be really familiar and proficient at the tools accountants use regularly. Achieving my master’s degree will also help me achieving my second goal of becoming a CPA by meeting the requirement of curriculum. Thus, I am professionally and academically motivated to earn a Master’s degree of Accounting at the Broad Business College.
The question, “Tell me something about yourself?” Is a common question I hear in past interviews? During interviews, I usually try to tell them skills that they want to hear or ones that are related to the job. Even though they might not be my strongest of skills or accurate. We all posses the power to acquire those traits with practice.
Finally Looking back since I returned to school maintaining a 3.8 GPA, I felt that my first semester in the accounting program has been difficult and grades have been hard to attain, but I realized that my work experience has been helpful as it allows me to return to school with organizational skills and the intense desire not to give up despite the difficulties and perform well as I continue the journey to my degree. I hope that I can get practical experience in the field though part time internships and volunteer as well.
