In this essay I will tell you about what I have learned in my life so far. So if I died today, tomorrow, at anytime this is what i would of learned from my life. When in doubt just take the next small step. If a relationship has to be a secret you shouldn't be in it. Life waits for no one. Lastly enjoy the little things in life. When in doubt just take the next small step. I am learning this lesson in my life right now I have alot of work that I have to do for school and studying for tests that I need to pass in order to maintain a good grade. So I just do things step by step so I am focused on one thing at a time and not trying to do everything at once. But I am pretty bad at following this at times because I get stressed out and just want to go to sleep or do something else to take my mind off of all the work I have to do. So eventually i have to do it last minute or it just doesn't get done at all, which sucks. …show more content…
I learned this when I was in 8th grade. There was this girl that I liked for about a month and I have been her friend for a while. So one day I decide to ask her to be my girlfriend and she says yes but she tells me not to tell anyone so I went along with it and everything was good. Until a week later she tells me she didn't like me at all since we started dating and it was messed up but now I understand why she didn't want me to tell anyone. So if that ever happens again when a girl tells me to keep it a secret I am going to say no and if you want to have a relationship it is not going to be a secret so I know that she wants a relationship for
Put things back where you found them. Play and work some every day. Hold hands and stick together. These are simple life lessons we learned such a long time ago. Author Robert Fulghum wrote about these plus other understandable life lessons in his book All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. Life in this age can become so complicated, especially with so many extreme events happening every single day. If we, as the human race, would remember these little proverbs, the world would be in a much better place.
come with a goal in life - to succeed on it. With that kind of mentality I
I close this essay with a message to anyone who may be reading this or even have the same troubles as me. Life will always throw challenges in your way, you will be lost at times and even scared to death. But in the end you will prevail. “Each day of life is a gift, that is why it is called the present”
These past few days, I learned a lot about myself. One of the things I learned about myself is that I am a, Auditory learner. I didn’t agree at at first and after I read it, I said to myself that ‘’That is totally me’’.It said that as a, auditory learner is a person who listens to ideas and loves to tell jokes and I often like to talk to myself. I have trouble writing, and that was one of my goals for this year to become a better writer. I don’t really read body language because I like to express myself a lot and that is what makes me a better learner in my own way. I am very social, I always come to school with something on my mind that I need to do or fix and I have problems of my own. I guess that’s not very personal because everyone
Explanations on this one thing you should do daily in order to be successful in anything you do.
Summer vacation, and school ends for about three months, and then you have as much fun as you can, then back to school… right? Well I had to go to summer school, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Everything was going fine, I had a job after summer school, and that was going fine as well. They say that summer is supposed to be fun and exciting, and it usually is for me and my family. However in July my father started coughing up blood. My father usually doesn’t make it his top priority to go to the doctors, so he waited about four weeks until he really didn’t feel good.
Over this past semester I have grown greatly as a writer. At the beginning of the semester I was not very confident in my writing because I did not think I had the skills to create strong pieces of writing. Not only have I grown as a writer, but I now enjoy writing more. I believe I have grown as a writer in many ways. Some of these include; I am now able to extend my wording to fit a page requirement, I am able to format my writing in MLA format, I have learned new writing strategies, and I am able to write in many styles of writing.
As Thomas Jefferson wrote, "Determine never to be idle. . . It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing." Benefit what you are doing before you can accomplish and achieve something for yourself. It does not matter what you are going through, you can complete your mission. Basically, Thomas Jefferson is saying just do not think about yourself, think about your family, environment or society, but do not start something you can not finish.
There is a point in everyone’s life when they step back and realize “I can’t do this anymore, it’s ruining my life”. Many of my friends have started smoking cigarettes while drinking at a very young age, and continue to use this drug currently and don’t realize the affect it has on their future. While I have been smart enough to avoid smoking, I haven’t been as wise at making decisions when it comes to drinking. The amount of partying I’ve done in college has taken over my life, and has had a huge impact on my grades. Changing my drinking habits and continuing to avoid cigarettes will enable me to be the best I can be for the rest of my college experience.
You'll gain confidence as you finish each thing and you can use that to keep working through the things that do not matter all that much. When you don't prioritize the things you should be doing each day, you'll run the risk of losing the time you need for the more important things because you will have spent way too much time focusing on things that aren't as important or things that are
1.Set yourself goals--manage how you use your time to achieve the goals to bring you closer to what you want to achieve.
There have been tons of things that I have learned and been taught in my life, by a number of people such as family, teachers, or even friends on occasion. The things they taught me vary from math and other related subjects to just some truly simple yet meaningful life lessons. However, there is nothing quite as unique, quite as special as a person teaching themselves a life lesson. It really is an amazing accomplishment for a person to teach themselves something. It is not quite as simple as another person teaching them something because it is not just the transferring of information from one person to another. The person instead has to start from scratch and process the information they have in their mind in order to come up with a new thought
“Something in human nature causes us to start slacking off at our moment of greatest accomplishment. As you become successful, you will need a great deal of self-discipline not to lose your sense of balance, humility and commitment.
I am sure we have all felt like there is not enough time in a day to get everything accomplished that we wanted.
I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I go instead of someone choosing for me.
