I did not do much this weekend. I had two baseball practices that was it. One was on Thursday afternoon and the other was Friday morning. We worked on hitting an we also threw a little bit, which I don’t really like I just like to hit. We also played a weird game and it was really fun. It is hard to explain, but it involves a bouncy ball so that was fun. I also got to see my oldest brother, named Tom, who came home from college. He goes to South Dakota State University. So that was fun to see him. Tom and I went to see Cole’s hockey game. Cole is my brother and he is a Junior at Harrisburg. In the hockey game he knocked some people down hard and that was cool. There was only two other things I did over the weekend. I played fortnite which
I love baseball. I love to play baseball and read baseball comics. I have read a lot of Japanese baseball comics, and almost all Japanese baseball comics’ heroes were fastball pitchers. This comic’s hero was a typical typed pitcher in Japanese baseball comics. He could throw the fastest fastball in his team, and became the ace pitcher of his team when he was a freshman.
It was the beginning of a new softball season, and I couldn't wait to get out there with my team. At our first practice I remember feeling back at home on the field. Just when I thought this was going to be our teams best season, my parents moved me to a private school. Leaving what I was familiar with was not an easy task, and deciding if I would continue my passion of softball with a different team was even more difficult.
My senior year of baseball was quickly coming to an end. I knew the only games we had left were the playoff games. It was the first round of the state playoffs. We were the fourth seed, so we had to play a number one seed. I knew it was going to put our team to the test, but I knew we had a chance to beat them. We had a good last practice before game day, and I felt confident in my team and felt like we were ready for the game.
It was nice to meet a cousin I hadn’t met before. Mark and his wife Michelle drove up from Michigan to be here with us today. Thank you.
Growing up, I have always had a passion for baseball. To me, it is much more than just a sport. There have been times when it has acted as an escape from many problems in my life, as I feel that when I am on the diamond, nothing can hurt me. I am aware that many people feel this way about the sport they love, but sadly their careers often come to an abrupt end due to injury. I have a personal connection to this experience. The summer before my fourth grade year I was attending a basketball camp at Davidson College, when in the final seconds of a scrimmage game, my ankle was kicked out from under me. I immediately fell to the ground in pain as my ankle rolled over on itself. Coaches aided me in limping off of the court and to the training room
2) A typical weekend for me would include waking up and completing my chores, and school assignments, such as studying before I leave the house. After finishing my chores, I normally spend time with friends and family, and sometimes I babysit. On Sundays I go to church for three hours. After church, I normally spend time with my family or do activities that strengthen my faith.
After 3 events, we had the only one event left which was the dodgeball tournament. We didn’t really satisfy at all the events we did so far, because we lost them by big amount of points. However, we still didn’t quit since we had one more event, dodgeball tournament. When our company’s turned to play dodgeball, we pulled up our posters that we spent hours on the night before and painted our faces with light blue. We all screamed as loud as we could so that our members could hear us from other side of gym and we actually called each members names that were playing the dodgeball. We had one dramatic moment when we only had one guy left and other company had 3 people. I thought we would lose this game because 3 people from other company actually
Once we finished our snack we went outside. Then we washed our bikes with the hose. After that we sat down and looked at the sidewalk. It’s across the creek and people go on it all the time. I like to watch people go by. There are bikers, dogs , joggers, and more. We sat and waited and watch the people go by . Finally we grabbed on our bikes and went to the path. It was fun and we went down a hill too. We did this for about an hour. But then got bored!
This last weekend was homecoming and I went to the cardboard races and football game. It was also parents weekend so I did all of this stuff with my mom. The cardboard boat races were fun. Our hall’s boat sunk right when it got into the water, so that was not cool. Some of the boats were really fast and it was super fun to watch. The best part was watching people finish and the worst part was the coldish weather. I probably should not have worn shorts and a t-shirt. Then the next day we went to the football game. There was free food and drinks under a tent, and who doesn’t like free food. We were playing Saginaw Valley and that is where a couple of my friends from high school go to school, so I was hoping that we beat them. The game was really
I went to my grandma's for Mother's Day. All my cousins were there and my grandma and grandpa too. We had juicy chicken for lunch, then we went outside and played an entertaining game of wiffle ball. I all went and played a game that one of my cousins invented, which is a prime creation. When they were at my house. Then the fun was over so we had to tidy up my grandma’s yard and trim
My dad and sister watched television, my mom crocheted, and I worked on my Kinderbuch for German class. As usual, everyone but me fell asleep. At 10:30, we packed all of our things into the back of the Tahoe and pulled around to he front to return the keys.
Of course I played video games all week because that is what I love to do in my freetime. The second week my brother and I were at a thing at our church called VBS. VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. VBS is a thing were we go to our church for five days in a row, from 8:00 to 11:30, to play fun
After breakfast I went outside to play with my little brothers Eli, and Solomon. They were playing a game with wooden shields and wooden swords, which my dad had built for us. The reason we were playing, and played for hours what fun we had. You know when you are playing for a long time, but you become tired. What we did was every now
It was a bone chilling day, as most of the kids in the school got to go to D.C. the capitol of America. The trip was so well planned out, that we even got to ride a coach bus. After we got off and ate lunch me, my mom and a couple of my friends, headed to the Natural Museum of History. The things we saw in the animal exhibit was unbelieveable, can you believe that a walrus is bigger than a rhino.
to go to England with the band. One other thing that I did was I went to the
