Personal Narrative: The Roller Coaster

The legendary roller coaster commenced, sending me through a series of twists and turns. Then it continued elevating me to extreme heights. Soon, I was on top of the world. It was genuinely quite relaxing. The roller coaster seemed to have ended already. I could see everyone going on about their business. As I was looking forward, I saw it. It was a never-ending void, of a 90-degree angle drop.

As I walked into the amusement park, I could see loads of balloons, cotton candy, and astronomically immense roller coasters. These weren't your average roller coasters. As a matter of fact, these ineffable roller coasters seemed to scrape the light blue sky.

"Nah, we will do those last, so all of the other roller coasters will seem simple." He asserts.

Apparently, he is stubborn, so my attempts to stall were rejected. So I reluctantly came along as he dragged me to the line, which was pretty short. I got into the seat, and could see the sides of the roller coaster. The paint was chipping off. So I pulled the sturdy strap from above and locked it onto my body. I was feeling a sharp, pain in my stomach. I was aquiver with fear. The gates in front of me open. Then, without any warning, the roller coaster zoomed forward. Honestly, I thought I was dead. The roller coaster slowly started to climb the steep, never-ending mountain. I looked to the side and saw as I inch by inch ascended from the ground, as it elevated me to extreme heights. I was heading for the stars! As I finally reached the top, I was overwhelmed with emotions; fear, anxiousness, excitement. Suddenly, the coaster stopped. I was on top of the world.
