Receiving my first car had a very important significance in my life. Since I was a child I always loved to drive, regardless of whether it was over my dad’s lap. Once and a while he would let me drive around the neighborhood or in non-busy streets to get the hang of it little by little. By the age of sixteen I already had my license and I was excited than ever. My dad would let me drive his car when he would come home from work and I loved the feeling of just going out by myself, I felt responsible and free. As time went by, I started to build my own life and go to a university and to work as well. I didn’t have any method transportation, throughout a certain time I began to struggle to arrive to my locations. My father began to see that I …show more content…
The main thing that I would use to arrive at my destinations would be apps like “Uber” or “Lift”, since all my destinations where no were near my locations this caused me to waste an abundance amount of money on the regular basis. I couldn’t go out anywhere I want whenever I wanted. I always had to ask my dad or mom to lend me their car so I can run my personal errands. I felt like I needed to depend on other people for my stuff and I didn’t like that at all. Since I’m older now, every time it came down to ask my parents if I can borrow their car I felt shy and ashamed for not having my own. Although, my parents never denied me the usage of their car, I still felt like I needed one of my …show more content…
After months of desperately waiting I finally had what I’ve been wishing on for years. My dad showed me several pictures of the car and it looked decent and brand new, but when I saw it in person it looked way better than in pictures. It was a brand new without a scratch Chevy Cruze 2014. It has the color of an olive wine bottle and the inside texture was black and silver. It is extremely economic, it doesn’t waste as much gas as regular cars. Apart from all these wonderful features, the car was so affordable that my dad bought it the same day in cash. When driving it home, the steering wheel was so easy to move and the car rode smooth throughout the whole way home. I can definitely say that at that point I told myself that this was the perfect car for

When I was fourteen I began the search for a vehicle. I want to find an older truck or muscle car to fix up and have done by the time I got my driver’s license. So every day I would search the web for what would be the best looking, easiest to work on, and cheapest vehicle I could find. I fell in love with the look of the square body Chevy short bed trucks and it was all the things I was looking for; the hunt was on for the one for me.
When I turned twenty-two I was excited to purchase my first car, I had been saving for 5 years in order to obtain the car of my dreams. I knew exactly what I wanted, all the “bells and whistles”, and I knew exactly what I was willing to pay and not a penny more. I thought I had a strong knowledge of the sales and pricing of the particular car I was hoping to buy, because I had done my research for weeks browsing and comparing the Sunday car ads. I was assured that my knowledge of the sales would get me a fair price and a great deal. However, my overconfidence and naivety, in the “creepy” sales tactics used by the dealership, made me unaware of the three hour nightmare that was about to ensue; leaving me brokenhearted, angry and vowing to never step foot on a car lot again.
really neat car that not many other people had. Than the next thing I would do
When I can drive a car, I can go to places where I would like to without many restrictions. For instance, I can take a yoga class that is outside of my school; I can drive to a part-time job; I can also go on a road trip with my friends. Especially when I am in college, driving seems to be necessary since the place is ginormous and the public transportation is not as convenient as cities like Boston. Without knowing how to drive, I will reduce my enthusiasm to do many of these activities because they are troublesome to get to. Even though I need to go to different places in one day, I do not feel restrained because I can rely on my personal schedule instead of worrying about to cause trouble for others.
The day started off like any average day, I took a hot shower, got dressed and got prepared for the day. It wasn’t until I sat down and started eating my bowl full of cheerios with extra sugar, that I realized what was actually happening. Today would be the day I finally bought my first car, after a year of hard work and conservative economic decisions.
Can you remember when you got your driver?s license? From what I can remember getting my license was one of the most exciting things in my life. Having your license means having more freedom. If I didn?t have my license my life would be very different. To get your license you need to take the class, pass the written test, take behind the wheel, and finally take your driving test.
Do you remember how you came across your first vehicle? How was your experience? Having a vehicle comes with many responsibilities and expenses. I will never forget how I meet my first car.
One of the very first things a buyer should consider when looking for a car is what kind of car he/she wants. Many different factors can affect the car buying process. For one, the buyer must consider how big of a vehicle he/she wants and safety features like airbags, seatbelts, and working brakes. Itemizing a list of accessories can also help narrow down what kind of car to buy. While some people might prefer a Sedan with a large back seat and seat warmers, others may prefer an extreme luxury car with full stereo systems and miniature televisions. Every person has different tastes in accessories; luckily, there is a vehicle that can fit almost every personality. Most new models have the latest technology installed, although some of the “newer” used cars have the option of adding in those accessories. Once the...
With rust spots all over, beaten up and scratched, and the milage reaching its final days, there sat my very first car, a 1998 ford escort. Turning sixteen the first thing that comes to every teens mind is getting there driver's license and being able to have the freedom they have dreamed of for years. But the number one mistake that can happen is rushing into buying your very first car just because you want one. With help from my dad and not much money, I was able to select the best car for me while learning what to look for and what mistakes to not make while still meeting your wants and needs.
My parents should buy me a car because of three reasons college tuitions are very expensive, I need to buy clothes, food, and water, and I want to start saving money for my retirement. Even if my parents buy the car for me a college tuition would still be hard to save up for and get due to how expensive most of them are. Food, water, and clothes I just need to survive and keep warm. If I start saving when I am younger I could have more money in their so I can retire more comfortable. In summary those are the reasons why my parents should buy a car for
Every family has different views on when a teen should get their first car many parents say once they can buy their own, some will give their children a car the second they get their driver's license. If it was up to their child the second parent would be the best but not every parent is like that. Most parents will wait until they are responsible of taking care of their own car and expenses. In spite of their child begging the parent should stay strong and wait until the show them that they are responsible, they can make good decisions and have safe driving habits. Only the parent can know when their teen is responsible enough to drive there is a number of things that can convince the parent to get one or you may convince them to wait longer.
Knowing you don’t have to rely on someone else for your means of transportation. Families that don’t own a vehicle are few and far between. 90.7% of the nation’s households own approximately one car. Owning a vehicle keeps one from having to have the worry of catching a bus or train, which could be inconvenient at times. In many places, the access to transportation other than your own vehicle may not be available.
With convenience comes cost. There are many costs associated with owning a car. Firstly learning to drive can be prohibitive, with lessons often out of a lot of peoples budgets. Once you have passed your test buying a car can also prove expensive. It is often the case we have to buy cheap second hand cars as new cars are very expensive. Sometimes this is fine and you can have a reliable car, but other times you pick one up that’s not been well maintained and can cost you a fortune in repairs and keeping it on the road.
