One summer I went to visit my uncle in my hometown for vacation. My uncle had several off road Jeeps that his friends and he used to go to the tide pools with. Knowing me, I don’t want to ride with my uncle or his friends so I tell him I want to build my own Jeep. He had two old broken Jeeps on his land that he never found the time to rebuild so my cousin and I pulled the two Jeeps to my uncle’s business garage. I had to use both jeeps to make one off road Jeep, For 5 days straight I went to his garage from 9 am to 9 pm working on the Jeep. I was working so hard on the Jeep I got it to start on the third day, took it for a test drive with my cousin and I behind me driving the Jeep that my uncle owns. It just happened to be, as my cousin pulled out of the entrance of the garage to get on the main road, cops rolled up behind us, got out of their car and approaches my car because of it being having a deleted exhaust. The cop then asked me for license and registration, but I only had my license and the Jeep was not insured or registered because it was and old rusted Jeep to go off roading with and I didn’t think it would be an issue. He then told me to step out the Jeep and put me in cuffs, called the cop tow truck, and contacted my uncle to pick me up. Sadly they towed my Jeep and I had to pay to get it out of impound. My cousin, who was in the passenger seat, signaled telling me that the outsider was trying to show off, so I turned it up a notch. I drifted the Jeep around this big corner on the dirt trail and the side of my back wheel smashed into a big stone. My two cousins and I used all the profanity in the book out of shock because I lost control of the Jeep and it flew off the cliff before my
Scott Robinson moved from Houston to Cincinnati in 2007. Before leaving, Mr. Robinson sold his Hyundai Santa Fe to a used car dealer in Rosenberg, Texas. Due to clerical errors at the dealer, Scott's car was sold with his license plates still attached to the vehicle. The new owner of the vehicle ran a stoplight and when the license plate was read, Mr. Robinson's information was pulled up. When he finally received his ticket, it was too late for him to protest the charges even when providing proof of sale for the vehicle.(Geor...
handcuffs on him and put him the backseat of the cop car, and we all waved as they drove away”
Officer Peal stayed with the juvenile as I placed Jones in the backseat of my patrol vehicle. When asked, Jones advised me that his wife, Ashley Ellen Jones, was the registered owner of the vehicle. Furthermore, Ashley allowed Jones to drive the vehicle with the knowledged that his Florida DL was suspended. Jones stated "I called my mom when you were pulling me over, she should be here any minute."
Four wheeling has been one of my family’s favorite activities for my whole life. Both of my parents even grew up riding. They kept the tradition of riding in our family by giving me my first four wheeler when I was five years old. I would take it on miniature trail rides until it eventually gave out and I had to hop on with my parents. We have continued that tradition by going on many four wheeling trips every summer.
It was the summer of 2007. My family went on vacation to Mendocino, about 3 hours Northwest of Castro Valley. We were visiting a small shopping center next to the beach there, looking to see what kind of souvenirs and other goodies we could find. My sister and I visited a bookstore, seeing some cool toys (namely, Lego) in the window. My parents decided to wait for us to finish looking, right outside the store. My dad thought it was a getting a little cold, and decided to go back to the car and get our jackets. Browsing around, I first went through the store and looked for the small toy section. I found it, marveling at all the Lego that I didn’t have, although it was probably a trivial amount compared to the entirety of my current collection. After that, I went to check out the rest of the store, eyeing interesting picture books and funny book covers. In the midst of so many extraordinary books and souvenirs, I spent a good half an hour in that bookstore, browsing the many genres and types of books.
I've been four wheeling since I was about three. Id say its pretty fun when you're not busy crashing. My favorite thing about four wheeling is having the wind blow in my face, it makes me feel free in a way. When i'm with my family four wheeling nothing can stop us so you better watch out. My best experience while riding a four wheeler was when I was about nine my grandpa and my four year old sister were together on one four wheeler and I was on my own we were riding down the road when my grandpa said “ Aryona do you want to go down there?” i was a little scared at first, but he told me it would be okay, so i said “yes.” Once we got down there I was happy I decided to go because It was awesome! One of my favorite things about
The racecar was not the most creative or what some would call beautifully designed. But the owner and his father worked for weeks on that little wooden block to turn it into something the ten-year-old boy could be proud to race. A previous race showed what needed to be done for a car to make it in the top five. After careful designing, sanding, painting, and graphite the car was finished.
When I was fourteen I began the search for a vehicle. I want to find an older truck or muscle car to fix up and have done by the time I got my driver’s license. So every day I would search the web for what would be the best looking, easiest to work on, and cheapest vehicle I could find. I fell in love with the look of the square body Chevy short bed trucks and it was all the things I was looking for; the hunt was on for the one for me.
...stration. Ask if you are under arrest, if you are not and your license and registration are given back you
The patrolman was courteous, but still he ordered me out and searched my van. I asked him what he was looking for, and he only mentioned that he had a call about Hippies that had done some shoplifting near Phoenix two nights ago. He let me go after I showed him my drivers license and vehicle registration.

Made me get out and started to do the drunk that they give for fifteen minutes he had he doing random stuff, so I told him I was the sober driving we to pick them up from a party an so he told me to empty the beer cans on side of the road then after that he gave us a big speech just like any other cop might have after that he follow us all the way home, the scariest thing I figured I was going to jail for the first time ever lucky I didn’t drink or else I probably would have. It would have been a bad thing once you do something it’ll spread like a wild fire in our home town, so most of the time now when head back home I like to stay inside and hangout with people instead of driving around all night. He promised to appear in court and left the area without incident. The Hyundai was transported to PRPD by Pasco Towing and
Several miles outside of Portland, Oregon, on a cool September evening a green Subaru outback drove along the highway. I was riding in the backseat, no more than ten years old. My dad and I were on our way back from visiting my Grandparents for the day. Darkness had just begun to fall across the wide expanse of the fields surrounding the city and a light mist was falling. I remember my dad driving in the front seat, his hands locked on the wheel, the wiper blades sliding across the windshield every few seconds, soft classic rock coming from the speakers behind me.
As we were eating some sleazy greasy food, I obviously had to tell my friends about running from the law and my involvement. After telling all my friends about my night so far they all had a good laugh. Later that night when we were leaving the Waffle House the law was behind by my car running the tag. Once the law left we definitely decided it would be a good decision to go home. However, when we started to leave I put the petal to the metal. We fish tailed the car sideways, and as I was trying to regain control of the wheel I accidentally over corrected. If one knows anything about driving cars to fast and or wild, one of the biggest mistakes one can make is to over correct. Following my big mistake the car spun out of control off the road, into the ditch, up a hill, and finally came to a rest once I had hit a power pole with the rear bumper. As if the night had not already been embarrassing enough for me, this car accident put the amount of embarrassment I felt over the
