I was sitting at my desk inside if my third grade classroom that was full with many students. I sat right next to my friend Eric. The teacher, Mrs. Cooksey had put four desks together so that it could make one big table. I sat with two other girls and Eric. Eric was on my right side and one of the girls who is named Yesenia sat in front of me and Keristy sat in front of Eric. We were all working on multiplication problems on a worksheet that Mrs. Cooksey handed out to us. As we were working Eric asked me a question.
" What are you doing after school today?"
"I'm not sure. I'm probably going home and going to do my homework while I eat."
"Is that all?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Okay then, I was just asking'
"I'm going to-"
"Eli!"
"Yes?"
"You're
"You know what? I don't feel very hungry anymore. Why don't you take that pizza back?" I asked.
I’m not sure but, I think I was still in what the kids call “the dumb hallway”. After a few months a new student came and we became good friends. We had a lot of thing that we liked, she always dragged me around to people and she was slowly pulling me out of my shell. I was becoming so happy. After a few months, I was in my room and I was thinking back about my life. There were a few tears and I was thinking to myself, what I was doing. I came to realize I didn’t have it bad as other people; I wasn’t the only one that was lonely. I went to sleep after that I found out it was 6:00 so, what I did was went down stairs and went to my garage. I went down there because, there was a punching bag sitting there to relive my stress. After, hour my grandma came down and said to
Ask yourself, how was your 8th grade year… Was it good, bad, fun, or stressful? Well most of my 8th grade year was bad but the ending actually turned out good. The start of my year was exciting, but that was just the beginning. As time went on and the work started to come in, that's when things turned south for me. I started stressing about everything I had to do, I was getting to overwhelmed. I would catch myself slipping constantly and it was worrying me because I didn't want to get held back a year. I slowly started to lose all interest in all of my work.
As I walked to school with my lunch that was in a plastic bag. Once we got into school and got in the building my teacher Mr. Williams took attendance and five minutes later we turned around and got on the bus. It was windy and there were leaves blowing all over the place. Last year my 5th grade at John Stewart elementary school was going to Leroy Oakes in St. Charles for team building. It was a fall day and it was chilly. I had my drawstring on my back with my lunch and had three coats on. We turned onto a road called Dean Street and it was bordered by grass. I saw the Leroy Oaks sign, and my bus went over a speed bump that threw my class off balance. After awhile my class off the bus with a skip and a jump in my step. Then I was super excited that our
We were traveling thought all the beautiful places and cities in the country. During our vacation, one day we stopped at a restaurant in a small town. As we were eating, my 16-year-old cousin said to me hurry up, finish your meal and we’ll go play outside. I was a little boy just turned six years. I was excited to go play outside with my cousin, so I was the first one to finish with my meal.
It was the last Saturday in December of 1997. My brother, sister, and I were chasing after each other throughout the house. As we were running, our parents told us to come and sit down in the living room. They had to tell us something. So, we all went down stairs wondering what was going on. Once we all got down stairs, the three of us got onto the couch. Then, my mom said, “ Well…”
I was the new student in school, so I have to present myself to the class. I have to say my name, where my last school was, where I am from, and what’s my birthday. After I present myself, the teacher told me where my seat was. At that time, there was this girl that kept looking at me. When lunch break, she walked towards me and asked if she could be my friend.
On that fateful day in March, I was a couple months shy of my third birthday. My family and I lived in New Mexico at the time and were renting a house with an outdoor in-ground pool. The day was beautiful. I was outside with my oldest sister Rachel and my father. Rachel was diligently reading curled up on a bench that sat against the house, and my father was mowing the backyard. My mother and my other sister were in the house. Off to one side of the house there was a group of large bushes. I was playing over there with one of her large cooking pots, off in my own little world. At one point while amusing and en...
It was third grade and I had moved to another school. It was close to my other school, but it wasn’t even in the same county. I was nervous. I didn’t know anyone and as someone who was shy and awkward, I didn’t really talk to anyone. As I began towards my seat where my name had been impeccably placed, a girl in the row next to mine suddenly, enraged, yelled at the boy behind her, who was tapping his pencil. I would observe this type of similar behavior from her more time than not.
When I went to school we would be in are classroom doing what we usually do everyday learn but we were going to Mt.Hood to snowboard some people skee but I was snowboarding when we got there we had to wait on the bus to tell us the rules when they were finish we went to go change, get on our groups, and the people in my group was Yaritza, Luz Galvan, Andrea, Jared, Zach Perryman, Zoyer, Enrique Flores, Emilia Castillo, David Muñoz which is me it was sunny to.
"Will you eat breakfast?" I asked with a smile. He quickly shook his head and headed outside. Without those cheesy and cute goodbyes.
Last year in 7th grade me and this girl we were in garden club and we all got to take a break and go inside and cool down because it was really hot outside and we were out there for a long time. We are both in there cooling down then another one of our friends came in to cool down to so we're all just talking and cooling off and we were about to go back outside. As soon as we were getting ready to go back outside then she says hey do yall want a snack and she had three pop tarts in her hand so we took one and we were eating it but she didn't eat hers. So we went back outside finishing up what we had to do because we were about to switch to our next class. The teacher calls both of us to her room and asks us if we had taken a pop tart and
I had seventh period math class the anticipation was building the entire day and as soon as I walked to class I felt nervous. I was feeling all sorts of emotions in one minute I did not know where to feel happy or sad. My teacher combined all my tests into one test I looked at the paper, but I could not see anything. I went blank for a moment, but then I remembered what my sister told me to block that voice out of my head. I just forgot that it was a test and started doing the answers when I got to the end, I thought to myself “that was
I smiled sweetly and walked towards the door. " Hey where are you going so early in the day?" Ban asked looking up from the food.
It was Friday morning and I was in the 5th grade at the time. My father decided to pull both me and my brother out of school. My mother wasn’t home. She had already gone up to the hospital with my grandmother.
