Every great writer had to start somewhere, and they all started out with some weaknesses. While these writers grew, so did their strengths and their weaknesses. Throughout this short eight-week course, I went through a whole lot at a fast pace. I felted that I did a good job keeping up with the class, and staying on top of my work. Also while going through this class I learned that I had a few strengths and some weaknesses. I learned that I had strengths of imagination and clarity, with those I also have a weakness with my time management. My first strength as a writer would be my imagination. While I read a story for the first time my imagination helps me to make my own story while I read it. It also helps me to see the bigger picture in a story, and really have a grasp of what the authors point in writing the story is. My imagination also helped me with my writing in this class, by helping me get my word count up. It helped me to imagining new things, and to get them down on the paper so that my word count would go sky high. My second strength as a writer in this class would be my clarity. This helped me by making sure I was putting my words down in a way that the reader would know what I was trying to say. I learned that I am a good writer whenever I actually sit down and write, and that I have a few things to work on. One activity I can do to enhance my writing skills would be to write. I just need to write more and learn new things as I write. One way I can improve my weakness as a writer, would be to get to a place without distractions and just start writing. Although this class was very short and at a fast past, I felt that I improved as a writer and that I have a good foundation to start out my college writing
