As I begin to envision myself in the middle of my life/career I see a challenging, but rewarding life. Certain goals I have set out for myself are what most people consider unreasonable or flat-out impossible to achieve. I believe success is unconditionally contingent upon the ability to capitalize on opportunities and taking risks. Regarding my professional goals, first and foremost, graduating college and obtaining an MBA in entrepreneurship is my main priority. After college, and thinking long term, the biggest professional goal that I aim to achieve is starting my own real estate development firm. My real estate development firm would be located either in my hometown of Miami or New York City and would focus on both residential and commercial …show more content…
Getting started is just the beginning. I know by the middle of my career I will have both accomplishments and failures. I understand the risk and fear associated with developing and it’s something I am willing to accept. Overall, I picture myself having a large successful portfolio of projects that have ultimately given back and helped different communities. Hopefully by the middle of life/career I have allowed myself to work outside my comfort zone by taking advantage of new and untapped opportunities not only in North America, but everywhere around the world. I see myself developing apartment complexes and homes in South America, Asia and Africa. My main professional goal coincides with some of my personal goals. Some of my personal goals consist of traveling the world and starting a family. Not only do I see developing real estate as an opportunity to build a career out of, but also as the chance to travel the world. I have a long list of places I desperately wish to visit and experience so hopefully by the middle of life/career I would have successfully crossed off most those destinations. Also, by the middle of life/career I see myself having a family of my …show more content…
Personally, having it all in terms of my personal goals would mean showing my family all parts of the world. Having time to travel and enjoy life with the people I love is a goal I want to have freely usable by the middle of life/career. I know there are a lot of reasons why goals are not possible, but there are also a lot of reasons why they are possible. I know my work ethic and ambition to achieve what I want is strong. I know by the middle of life/career I will have everything I have ever set out for. Additionally, by the middle of my life/career know I will continue to push myself and take advantage of every new opportunity presented to me to accomplish even more for my family. The exact path or blueprint on how to become a successful developer, traveler or father does not exist. This unknown element is simply part of life, and I honestly look forward to it. By the middle of my life and career I know I will have family, life and profession I have always dreamed of. I know who I am and what I am capable of no matter what other people may think or say. I will be living in both Miami and New York doing what I love to do with those I love around
Is where you are in your working career where you want to be for the rest of your
..., as well as the management experience, to one day open an engineering firm, an aspiration sparked by my parents who ran their own small businesses. I hope to learn how to tackle problems associated with building structures of unorthodox yet sustainable design so that, as a structural engineer, I could bring to reality art that can endure tumultuous storms and dynamic humans. I want to build structures that in turn build the future.
“Hot off the press! Get your guide on what not to do when purchasing a home.” I wish I had a guide like this one before I purchased my second home. I had warning signs all around me that I chose to ignore. The only thing I knew for sure is I wanted a four bedroom two car garage and I was going to get it anyway possible. Later I received a crash course on the grueling process of going through a short sale and all the stress it puts on your relationship. Though losing this home, I learned not to take on more than I can handle. This is important because it can put a lot of pressure on your marriage, family and you.
In the future, I would most definitely like to become an entrepreneur. I believe that I possess the necessary qualities that define me as a good leader. Because I am highly creative and I enjoy creating marvelous designs, I believe that I would be successful in the marketing, architectural, or engineering industry.
The chances of me getting a job in this career field are somewhat good, I need to learn more about the career before I can start a career. I don't really possess very many qualifications for this career yet, but I am hoping to learn as I pursue this career. The place I plan on living is wherever the career plans on sending me, in this career it isn't unusual to move around to wherever the company plans on sending me. It can be stressful, but the money is good and ill get to experience new
My professional goals for myself are to succeed at everything that I do in my future career, also succeed at everything I need to get to where I want to be. My professional goals for my community is to do the best that I can to help everyone I come across who needs help and give them everything it is that I can offer them. My professional goals for my profession is to give the best care to everyone I help and never give up when things get hard.
My goal is the final destination of my financial success. It is to be able to pay bills without worry, be free of debt, have enough money for my kids to go to colleges and help other people with my financial resources.
...elieve simply writing these goals out will manifest themselves and I look at where I came from to where I am now and where I can be in the future. I am very enthusiastic about advancing both in academia and career wise above all I am excited about the positive affects my journey will exsanguinate to others clients, family members, friends, and colleagues. As these people will positively affect my journey too in my point of view most things are circular and transactional. We all contribute to each other one way or another.
As a senior in high school, many students ponder the big question of life that seems to be asked by many. No, that question is not where do you want to go to college, what are you doing after high school, that question is where do you see yourself in ten years. As I reflect on my childhood, I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years of my life. In ten years I can see myself having many of my goals accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life. I live with my mommy and daddy in La Cresta, along with my brother.
My long-term personal goal is to be at a place where I am genuinely happy with myself and my life and not allowing others and their opinions on me or what I have done or am doing in life to
My long-term goals, on the other hand, are to return back to my country as an academician, become broadly a professor of Public Administration, specifically urban studies. Furthermore, my other goals for the my future career are; working with employers and students in an increasingly responsible position, which enables me to utilize my talents and work closely with my colleagues in solving crucial problems; make a significant contribution to the understanding of public behaviors in the public service; create strategic solutions related to my area of Public Administration, integrate these strategic solutions with real-life applications; setting high goals, being honest, never saying no, and cooperation with people who share their passion for doing their best; become one of the distinguished academicians as an expert at a Department of Public Administration in
The best money related advice I ever received: “If you are fortunate enough to purchase real estate, never let go of it. If you want to buy more real estate, you can use the first property as a bank or you can rent it to someone and have them pay your mortgage and taxes for you.” The first property you buy can secure your future. It’s free money, other people work hard to pay your mortgage, excellent plan. I was living the dream, beautiful condominium that I purchased as a single unmarried woman, it was amazing. A couple of years later I got married and together we bought a townhome, so I rented my condominium, the rent that I received covered all expenses plus a little extra for me. Fast forward 10 years, that real estate advice never meant more to me than when my life shattered and I didn’t have anywhere to go.
I want to be happy and have financial security for once in my life - financial security that is mine, that I worked for and that I earned. Hopes and dreams for my profession, I want to make a difference to someone. I want to be a part of someone clawing their life back and regaining control and being able to look back and say “wow, I have come a long way from where I used to
Family happiness is obviously central to my own happiness and my dreams for the future hinge on that value. In fact, everything really ties together. I want to have successful upward growth in my job role and dependability and honesty are a way to get there. Having a successful career will also make it possible to have long-term financial stability which is very important to me. When I completed the activity “27 Things I Want to Do Before I Die” in Becoming a Resonant Leader it became quickly apparent that what I enjoy the most is traveling (McKee, Boyatzis, & Johnston, 2008, p. 78). Travel means so much to me and my family and is something that we all greatly enjoy. My dream is that in the future we will have the financial means and ability to travel the world. I would also like to retire at by the age of sixty and enjoy my
Before I dive into where I see myself in 10 years career-wise, I want to reflect on what I desire for myself in 10 years. One key thing in life is to be happy. Happiness not just for my own selfish reasons, but because I would like to share my happiness with those around me. The Buddha once said, “Thousands of candle can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be diminished.” Similarly, I want to share my own happiness with others, because it won’t diminish my own. In terms of family life, I want to be married in 10 years. I want to marry at an early age, maybe like mid 20’s. I want to have a family to share my life with, so by my late 20’s I want to be expecting a son or a daughter. In 10 years I will only be 29 so I won’t be terribly old, but I want my future wife and I have our kids before age 35. That way we won’t have to deal with kids and teenagers in our 50’s (kind of a joke, kind
