There are many things you can be, a doctor, teacher, football player, etc. Everybody has one thing in the world, out of all those things , they want to be. That one thing, for me is gymnastics! I love gymnastics, I've been doing it since I was two. I am still going with gymnastics but when I don't want to do it anymore I'm going to be a gymnastics coach and train gymnasts to be as good as their hearts desire. My passion for gymnastics started when I was two. I walked into the gym and saw all the gymnasts flipping around and I wanted to do just that. So I started taking classes. When I was two it wasn't really gymnastics practice it was just learning somersaults and cartwheels and just doing fun things. Now I am doing many more actual gymnastics
When I was about six or seven years old, I started cheerleading because my older sister, Tiffany, was a cheerleader (and what little girl doesn’t want to be just like their older sister?). Thanks to Tiffany, and, of course, my mom for signing me up and getting me where I need to be, I found a love and passion for something I would cherish for the rest of my life.
I started gymnastics when I was very young, just a short while after I started walking. Which I don’t hardly remember much from when I started. Although I know I loved everything about it, especially tumbling (flipping around) that was my favorite part. I would
Fourteen years of my life. Fifty two weeks of my year. Five days of my week. Four hours of my day. This is what I have given to the sport of gymnastics. Friday night football games. After school clubs. Sleeping in on the weekend. This is what I have sacrificed in pursuit of my passion. Perseverance against adversity. Dedication throughout hardships. Discipline in body and mind. These are the qualities this sport has engraved into my being. There is not a time I can remember when I was not involved in gymnastics. When I reflect on the milestones of my life I don’t reminisce on the loss of my first tooth or a move to a new house, but instead I recall my first trip to nationals and mastering my back tuck. Gymnastics is the foundation of who I
My Future Career My career I want to do it be is to be a neonatal nurse. My job would be helping babies, and when you are taking care of them to go home. I would love to be around them all the time. High School Coach, I am doing this job because I want to make kids better.
A Career in Sports Medicine As we begin to grow up and come to the end of our high school career we must start to begin to start thinking about what type of career we want to be in. It is very important that a person picks the right type of career for them. Otherwise you will be unhappy with what you are doing and will not enjoy it at all. I am not entirely sure what I want my career to be
Having started gymnastics at four years old, I grew up intrigued about how my body was able to perform the strenuous tasks I asked of it. As I continued participating in the sport, I became increasingly more flexible and was able to put my body under conditions which one might find stressful, such as being able to do the splits. I have always been interested in sports but it was the science of how our bodies allowed us to do such things that compelled me. Combining this appreciation of sport’s ability to develop one’s character and my captivation with the anatomy and biomechanics of the human body, has sparked my passion to study Sports Science at university, whilst hopefully still participating in sports competitively.
Have you ever felt intimidated by anything? Maybe a public speaking or even a school project? In my case, it was a sport. A sport that wasn’t very popular, I might add. I started pole vaulting in January of 2015 , at first, I approached it warily. It was unusually risky. Merriam-Webster defines pole vault as afield event consisting of a vault for height over a crossbar. Pole vaulting is a part of the field aspect in “Track and Field”, and I became hooked on it. My brother, Nicolas Bernal, encouraged me to try it. I was excited because it could be something that we shared, pole-vaulting. Afterward, I talked to the coach, Coach Sawyer. He informed me that if I wanted to participate, then I needed to get my physical. Promptly, I did
I started gymnastics at the age of six and because of performing from an early age I became confident in being public. My motivation towards exercising has kept me on practicing a variety of sports for example ath...
I want to be a nurse, specifically a nurse practitioner. I have always been fascinated with the medical field and see a bright future in it for me. I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day with a variety of personalities. There is always something new to discover in this field. A nurse practitioner's job is to be able to diagnose and treat illnesses. They also prescribe medicine and run physical exams. I am highly interested in pursuing the career of a nurse practitioner because the healthcare field is always in need for medical professionals, it pays well, and I am helping people at the same time.
I want to be a nurse practitioner. I would like to be a nurse practitioner because, I could help people and I. I think when I am will still want to be a nurse. I want to go to college when I am older. I want people to smile because I helped them or their member in some way.
Growing up I had always been asked the infamous question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", and my answer had always been a shrug or a simple "I don 't know yet". If I was asked the same question now, I could confidently and very passionately say, "I want to be a doctor; a humanitarian who brings positive change in someone 's life.". It seems like a very general statement but I truly hope to one day become somebody who can use her expertise and profession to help others.
When I look at what I want to be in the future, the first occupation that comes to mind is physical therapy. While it is not something I have considered all through high school, I have been taking health occupation and sports therapy classes since my Sophomore year of high school. This career has interested me for a while now and I really think that I could excel at it. I think the best part about being a physical therapist is being able to interact with patients everyday and be able to help them and assist them. Over time I would want to be able to climb the ranks and be able to get really good at physical therapy and become one of the best. Becoming a physical therapist it is not easy; you need to go to college for seven years total, earning a bachelor's degree in the first four years and then going to physical therapy school for an additional three years. There are pros and cons of being a physical therapist though but I believe that this is something that I really want to do when I'm older.
I became interested in dance when I was a teenager, as I sat in the adunciend watching the dancers on stage made me want get up there dance with theme but I didn’t because I didn’t know how and and I would got kicked off the stage so when I decided to start dancing I was 17 years and I chose ballet started my first ballet class when I was 17 years old it was at an after school community center for teens.
My dream career would be: Becoming a nurse. Nurses help people in many different ways. They work at a fast, but focused pace; work side by side with Doctors and surgeons. Nursing has been a dream of mine for many years. There are many different kinds of nurses. The nurse I would strictly want to become is a nurse specialized in geriatrics, taking care of people with dementia. To work in this field you have to have an understanding of what is all involved. To be able to understand all aspects of the different kinds
A jolt of energy rushed through my body and hit my heart when they call me up to get the team trophy. Not fourth, third, or second, but first place for the third year in a row. Being a captain of a team is an amazing experience. You get to see your team physically, mentally, and emotionally prepare for competition. It's a lot of hard work, but if you try your hardest, make all the practices and have a passion for cheerleading its worth it. Every year we take a few weeks to build a competition routine, the out come is incredible, but the celebration is the best part.
