My Future Career My career I want to do it be is to be a neonatal nurse. My job would be helping babies, and when you are taking care of them to go home. I would love to be around them all the time. High School Coach, I am doing this job because I want to make kids better. I would like to make them the best I could so that we can win games. I want to win all the games I coach. This career I chose will be easy and hard. I wanted to do coaching because I want to be able to tell athletes what to do and they will listen to me and respect me. In football I would like to win a state title for my school Post Texas. A coach also has to be a teacher I would like to teach a class like health but I would probably do history. I would like to be a coach and a teacher. Here at my home town and school. I want to coach and teach here at Post Texas. I would love to be able to coach. The history of High School Coaching came from the 19th century. It came from England and other foreign countries. A team was having trouble with the amount of power the players had, each player thought that they were the coach and they started fighting. They all voted on one guy to make the rules so the called him coach. The coach gave all the players the same amount of power. From there it spread rapidly. Coaching has made every team easier to manage and control. Many people disagreed about coaching they said that they had too much power and made the players work harder. Since then many of the coaches have started a system of who will take the power as the head coach. According to the ICF International Coaching Federation there are around 47,500 professional coaches worldwide. The rate of the amount of coaches are increasing every year. The U.S. has the most c... ... middle of paper ... ...t the other such as the middle school, and elementary. This career I choose and researched is something I would like to do. I would like to go to college and become a coach then work my way up to head coach. I would like to make athletes better and make myself better. If I was to coach I would like to coach only two main sports. Football and Baseball, are the sports I would like to coach they are my two favorite sports right now and I would like to be around them. It’s even better I can make money and do what I like. I would like to teach a small class like health, but if I did a core class I would make more money. A class like history, math, reading, English, I would probably go with history. Because it seems easiest to teach and its one of my favorite subjects. I would like to teach in high school to high school students and be mainly a high school coach.
After all the research I would still like to be a neonatal nurse. I am really interested in this job so I think I will stick with it. I like taking care of babies, they are so much fun.
The career path that I want to pursue is in the medical field. I major in psychology and minor in biology because going to medical school has always been my desire. Being a pediatrician is my goal I wish to conquer. I am beyond interested and passionate about this career. It is not just a career, it is my life dreams. I want to be able to enjoy going to work every day knowing I love my job and I am here because I want to. Being a pediatrician I am able to work with children and many people of different cultures. I am thrilled to know that I will be capable of caring for sick children.
...developed by the American Coaching Effectiveness Program and the nation Coaching Education Committee. It includes sport psychology, pedagogy, and sports medicine. Coach’s average salary was 28,360 in 2012. The best-paid 10% in the field made 65,910, while the bottom 10% made approximately $17,210. Elementary and secondary schools are the largest employer of sports coaches, while business and labor organizations compensate them the best. Teachers prepare students for future schooling and careers by educating them on a wide range of subjects including math, reading, writing, social studies, science, foreign language, and more. Teachers have to work with individual students to overcome challenges, communicating effectively with parents and preparing students for standardized tests.
Being a Basketball Coach. The reason why i am studying this career is because i want to know what it is like to be a High School, or a College Coach, and a National League Associations (NBA) and just to see how it is to be a coach . My history of this career is that i have been to so many job shadows that are coaches and some coaches are nice too there players and some are very mean. There are a lot of basketball coaches out there and the employment of this job is to make sure your other coaches stay on track with the players to because some of the basketball players just want to go out and party after a game which that is not good for your body to have alcohol or anything else in your body. You can find these jobs everywhere
but I have a pretty good idea as to what type of job it will be. I would like to go into the field of a physical therapist and sports medicine, I fell I will enjoy this more than any other type of career just because I already have a lot of interest in it. Sports medicine involves athletes who are constantly training to be in the best physical shape they can be in. It involves athletes with rehabilitation and supplements that they can take to help either recover faster or to help them perform better on their playing field. A lot of high caliber athletes such as olympians are involved in sports medicine, because it is able to get you back into your sport, faster and with less likelihood of re-injury.
The effectiveness of the coaching method depends completely on the coach, his personality, and the needs of the student-athletes. Each program and institution is unique and has different institutional goals and objectives that attract different student-athletes compared to other colleges or universities (Koivula, Hassmen, Fallby, 2002).
My plan B for my career is to be a high school Athletic trainer. My reasoning for wanting to be an Athletic trainer is because it deals with my two favorite things to do; sports and helping other athletes with injuries. As the years go on I would like to advance to be a college Athletic trainer then move up to be a professional sports Athletic trainer.
“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will”. Being a football coach requires someone who can be a great communicator. This person needs to understand communication on both sides an individual can not just demand that it's a one way street where you talk and athletes listen. The career of coaching requires history of the game knowledge of the game, extensive education, and positive and negatives aspects of the game.

Coaching, however challenging, is a great way to influence the lives of others while also building their character. For as long as there have been sports, there have been people teaching the sport to the players and making them better at it. Coaches must have certain qualities in order to obtain success. One must also look at a coach’s motivation for his job, his passion for what he does, his methods for coaching, and how he became a coach in order to fully understand him. There are many questions someone may want to ask a coach about his profession if they are interested in coaching.
“A coach is someone who is equipped to aid individuals or groups and organisations to maximise their performance in pursuit of their desired goals.” (Dexter et al, (2011) p.4)
First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college. Then after college maybe pursue that as a career. If that doesn't work out for me then I want to look into athletic training or physical therapy. If those things don't interest me or I don't get into it I am then looking into law. That will take much more time and patience, but it's gonna be the rest of my life.
In today’s society being a coach can be extremely complicated especially compared to earlier years. Coaching requires not only many technical and personal skills but also has to include positive psychology that will affect all athletes regardless of gender, age, and race. After reading various articles this leads me to the question, what is a coach? How do coaches differ from one another? In addition are we forgetting the importance of not only coaching but the sports psychology aspect of coaching overall? Regardless of what you may have read or heard I believe not only do all coaches have their own coaching style but every coaching technique and style is different. Coaching styles and positive psychology are two techniques that can provide
If I was to choose any career, I would want to be a college art professor. An art professor teaches college students how to express them selves in a preferred medium such as painting or sculpting. Im sure teaching art would hone my skills in the medium I enjoy which is sketching portraits with either charcoal or ink. Like most professors, art professors are usually experienced in their favored medium. I feel like all educators should not just know what they are teaching but also know how to do what they teach, a math teacher should be educated in math to be able to teach it, a football coach must be immensely experienced in the sport so that he can teach his players to a professional standard. Being an art professor would be my dream job because I would get to work with they next generation of youth so I can influence them and teach them my point of view on art.
My dream job in the future would be professional football player. I have loved the game of football since I was a little kid because it’s a good sport and you can tackle the player and catch and do anything in the sport as long as you follow the rules. The colleges that I’m looking forward to go to are UNC, Oregon, or Appalachian State.
