The topic or idea I chose was football because of my passion for the game. In reality it’s everyone’s dream to be in the NFL or be a football star but that’s not for everyone.
The work ethic and all of hard work and time I put into getting better is amazing. I love the feeling of getting better and and improving yourself to get noticed. When football is around I can play football or talk football all day, no matter what and when I want to get better I listen and learn from what my coaches and trainers are telling me. Sooner or later all the work and time you put in will pay off. Everyday is football for me, I’m so used to it, I can’t live without it. Football gets my mind off of everything and it makes me smile, have fun, and be happy. I’ve
Football has been a big part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I almost always tried to play football when I could with my brothers if they weren’t busy messing around. During recess in grade school my class would try to start a football game and I would be the first in to be picked on a team. My first time being on a “football team” was in little league my third grade year and I’ve never missed a year yet now that I am a senior in highschool and I’m hoping to continue it in college. Football made the person who I am today, it changed me in many ways and affected how I am as a person.
I choose head start as my topic, I chose this because I think that head start is something that can really benefit the children and how you are starting them in a positive learning experience that can affect the student throughout their life. I also chose this because when I was in high school I went over to the head start and would help volunteer and it was incredible to see how much the students knew and how fast they would pick up new things.
Football is more than just a contact sport. What are often disregarded are the benefits that come from the game. The life lessons that young players learn when playing this game are irreplaceable. It molded me a young man into a wholesome human being. One who applies what he learned in football to the outside world. Football has taught me a lot about myself as well as responsibilities in the work
Everyone has life experiences. Some can be new and fun, like the first time ever going to Disney World as a child. Meeting your favorite movie characters and seeing stories come to life. Other can be tragic, like losing a loved one or suffering a car crash. No matter the experience we all learn from them. I am here to tell you about an experience of mine that I went through at an early age. At the age of 15, I told my parents that I wanted to play football. The sport of football really changed my view on life and taught me that things don’t come easy and that if you really want something, you’re going to have to put in the time and work. One of the many experiences of being in the sport of football is that practice is one of the toughest things I’ve ever went through, physically and mentally. Football taught me a lot about team work and working with others on doing and executing a job. Football made me faster stronger smarter and wiser. I had great coaches who always encouraged me to keep going whenever I wanted to quit because something was too hard or I was feeling
The first time I ever watched football was in the fourth grade and since that day I fell in love with the sport. My favorite football team became the Dallas Cowboys after my uncle told me a little about them. Not long after I started playing football with my cousin and brother. It was in seventh grade that I decided to join a football team and I was pretty scared. Since I’ve been a kid, I never really got hurt so I was afraid that might happen. When I started to play for a team I really started to love the sport for what it was and I began to appreciate it more. When I played football, I always pushed myself to do the best that I can
The topic I have chosen was The NASA Space Shuttle Program, and the reason I had chosen it was because I have always been interested in going into outer space. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always wanted to be able to float around in a little shuttle in outer space. Just the thought of feeling weightless has fascinated me.
Growing up in a Nigerian household, I struggled to fit the idea of stoic masculinity that my mother and father valued. They would often echo the words "be a man" which made me feel like I had to be an adult. At the age of six, I sprained my ankle for the first time playing soccer with my older brother, and I remember the overwhelming pain I felt as I cried uncontrollably. "Stop crying" were the first words my mother chose to comfort me, and without hesitation, I wiped my tears quickly to avoid seeing the disappointment in her eyes. I lived in a home where I felt compelled to portray a mature and emotionally stoic demeanor, regardless of the circumstances.
I absolutely love soccer, and that is why I was exited for the coming weekend. This weekend I was going to Memphis for a soccer game. The reason I was exited for this game is because it is going to be our first real game as a team.
Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences. (150 words) I discovered my passion for Soccer when I first kicked the ball aged four. The memory of the first contact of my foot with a spherical object in the children’s play area, is unforgettable. From then till now has been an exciting journey.
This past year I fell in love with the game of football all over again. There were several reasons and changes that I experienced which made me love the game more and want to achieve at a higher level. Our team made a comeback from the year before, and that greatly changed the outcome of our team and how I felt. It’s interesting how a few simple changes could alter everything and make our team more imposing. Those simple changes made the sport really fun for me again and made me realize why I played in the first place.
My personal project is about sport. I chose this theme because I think that it concerns everybody. At least once everyone has done sport in his life. Certainly when he was a child he played a lot of games, for example football, hockey, etc., ran and jumped all the time. Plenty of people go on with doing sport in their adulthood.
Football is easily my number one passion that I still participate in today. I have been playing football since I found out their was a team in second grade and have never stopped. Ever since the first day of practice I knew I had found something that I truly love and enjoy. Growing up in a family where my dad played college football and my older brother played, I was always around the sport. My Saturdays to this day consist of either playing football or sitting down and watching college football.
I used to explore new hobbies, sports and activities but I realized that Football is my favorite of them all. Being able to Watch the sport on television made it much better playing it in person. Football has always seemed to help me cope with things my life when it got stressful. I believe we humans were born to dream and chase what we love. Football is the best sport ever.
I chose the topic I did because I was intrigued on how students who aren’t able to use the full ability of their legs, are able to participate in the Pacer Test. This test is a running test that focuses on the child's cardio ability, and has them run back and forth from each side of the gymnasium. Or how children without motion in their arms are able to participate in the pull up test, or even a game of basketball. I was specifically drawn to this topic because my dad recently broke his ankle and is currently on crutches. When choosing a topic, I thought of him and was curious as to what he would be doing in gym class right now if he were in grade school.
Sports play a big part in many people lives. I love football. Football has been my favorite sport since I was younger. I share this common interest with many others. In this paper, I will share some of my views and experiences about football.
