I played and watched football every chance I got. I also like basketball. However, football is my favorite of all sports. I know people have their preferences relating to the sport they watch and play. There is always something new occurring when it comes to football. I love everything about football. For example, the hard hits, trash talk, receiver’s catching the football, etc. it is always unpredictable. The most important thing I like watching is seeing a running back bust threw the offensive line and score a

Now I watch college football, but hardly watch it. My favorite college team is the University of Oregon that’s also my dream college. I’ll love to go to the University of Oregon and play football for them. I’ll be the best little 5’3 running or cornerback it is. I just love football. I remember when I was little the only thing I use to do was run around the house in my little boxers with a football or go outside to toss the ball back and forward with my granddad. When I got a bigger I always said I was going to try out to become a football player when I got in middle school. I tried out for the football team. One condition for a football team is to display hard work. It is also lots of training embedded. The coaches will tell you if you’re good or not good. I thought okay. A couple of weeks later, I went to practice and the coaches had a list of the ones that made it. I didn’t see my name at first cause everyone rushed in trying to see if their names appeared on the list. When I was walking up there some had long faces while some was jumping up and down excited to start practicing the upcoming week. When I looked on the door, I saw my name. I was so excited because I
Football has been a big part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I almost always tried to play football when I could with my brothers if they weren’t busy messing around. During recess in grade school my class would try to start a football game and I would be the first in to be picked on a team. My first time being on a “football team” was in little league my third grade year and I’ve never missed a year yet now that I am a senior in highschool and I’m hoping to continue it in college. Football made the person who I am today, it changed me in many ways and affected how I am as a person.
Surprisingly enough, one will find the most passionate football players at the high school level. Most boys will start their football career as a young child in football programs such as Pop Warner to get a foothold and to get those involved in teamwork and friendships. These programs are usually the start to someone falling in love with the sport and making it a career choice eight years later. Football is one of America’s favorite sports. When fall season comes around, people across America are placing bets, finding out where that new sports bar is, and buying wide screen T.V’s to watch NFL on Sundays.
Football, just another method to throw life away. Football is an extremely unsafe sport, yet it is glorified by several in the United States. A plethora of football players are impacted negatively by injuries that may occur just by playing an "innocent" little game of tackle football. It is necessary to consider all the dreadful outcomes that may happen before taking the chance to play. Young individuals shouldn't play tackle football due to the trauma it can cause to the brain, the injuries or occurrences that can lead to a harder life or even death, and it leaves the players to be less sharp in their old age. It is often thought that football is a harmless game for kids to enjoy. Nevertheless, the amount of health issues and injuries that can be caused by football is unbelievable and not worth the risk.
Football can be traced by rugby and soccer. Walter Camp is the “Father of Football” (Bennett). The first American football game played in the 1860’s (Bennett). Football has a lot of history in the game. The rules are important to the game. The beginning of the National Football League is still going strong today. Strategies and formations of the game are important to study. Football is an aggressive sport and is one of the most played sports in the United States.
I think football should still be played but also it should be a safe sport too.
Those hot days in those great summers football was my favorite pastime. I lived in a house with two sisters and no brothers the most close thing to a brother was my football some friends and the field.
...o be a major part of life; but the hopes are that many things about football are changed in order to make the sport safer for everyone.
