I am not entirely sure on my exact field of interest although one thing I can say for certain is that I am interested in design. For a long time, I had wanted to be an architect, and that’s not to say that I do not want to be one anymore. I still love the idea of being able to design a building and figuring out the logistics to erect it. However, times have changed and the technology industry has started to boom, and my interest in art has also begun to evolve. I am also interested in becoming an animator of some sort. I know this does not sound very convincing, but I just recently had an interest in this field, so I looked for an internship dealing with graphic design. Although the internship will not be designing objects, and coding them to move, I will still see the inside scoop of making art on the computer. The reason I have taken a liking to a more …show more content…
To be honest, I do not have a desire to just want to know more unless it involves something I really enjoy. However, being inquiring will help one learn and grow as an individual as they discover new things to explore. I need to focus on this cognitive element to be able to learn more about graphic design in order to fully understand whether I like it or not. I should also take the initiative to look into game and show designing to see if they are fields I would like to look into more. Hopefully with the skills I learn, I will also learn to be more inquiring to be able to know more about the things I want to do and quite possibly the things I do not want to do. Another weakness I have is being somewhat principled. I feel like whenever I listen to others, I tend to make the final product all my way or all their way. During my internship, I hope to be able to retain my own style while adding input from others. This way, I can stay grounded in my own unique designs with a dash of inspiration from others instead of completely making it to what other people
Throughout my life, I have loved to draw. Due to my love of drawing, I decided to take a career in something that has to do with art. A few things have happened in my life that has caused me to take this path. Three people that I have interacted in some way, are the reason for my choices.
I spent most of my high school career depressed and anxious about everything. I was lost alone and some days it was it was hard to get out of bed. I was happier with my friends that was only a temporary satisfaction. I found myself through Art: writing, poetry, or short stories Art help me express myself. My art screamed more than I could have ever said. Art give me the confidence in the person I convey through right. Being creative lowered my anxiety and maybe feel like I could be myself.
My five year plan is to get a diploma in early childhood education and medical office administration. I would also like to get some sort of educational achievement in art that will allow me to make art for others. I have chosen this plan because it fits my personality. I enjoy and love being around kids, like the medical field, and love art. I could have a job in a pediatrician's office where I see young children on a daily basis and if a room needed to be painted I could do the painting. In order to achieve these goals I need to focus on what I can do now and take advantage of opportunities. I have been taking art classes ever since I started high school to meet my art goal. I am now a senior and I decided to take this summer online course, just in case I could not get into the early childhood education program offered at my school. I did not want to graduate high school without having any knowledge about early childhood education. I think this is a huge step in working towards getting my early childhood diploma. During the course of my high school career, I have also taken classes within the health science field and will be taking two classes required to get a diploma in medical office administration. As of right now I am not working but have tried applying for a job in a day
This career option as an assessment employer for the child protective services could possibly be a long-term career option. Although, I do not believe I would want this as my long-term career goal. Choosing to work directly out of college would also allow myself to gain experience within the field which would improve the possibility of getting a better job or getting into graduate school. If I was hired and I did accept the position within five years my goal would be to continue working while attending school to further mu education. I would continue to work to gain more experience as well as helping me get through school by paying off my tuition. I would not leave this job until I graduate and had another job lined up.
Figuring out ways to keep your mind sharp and your ideas fresh will help you succeed in a design career. Also artistic skills will help land a job in graphic design, but again knowing a general understanding of basic artistic elements to help translate that to the computer is a
My present interest in art is more graphic/typography based, although I do enjoy all areas of art. I have been designing graphics on my computers from a young age and have work published in national magazines. Not all the graphical work I do is computer based, I enjoy using traditional mediums in a clean graphical way, as I find it more satisfying working on a larger scale and producing something more "real". My current course has helped me "branch out" more; I have experimented in many disciplines successfully producing paintings, pastels and drawings, which I had never really developed fully before.
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is where a student would start. Though, if a student goes into another field, it would be beneficial for him or her to pursue technology training to meet hiring qualifications. The National Association of schools of Art and Design have 320 accredited post secondary colleges, universities, and independent institutes with programs in art in design. Most of these schools include studio art, principles of design, computerized design, commercial graphics production, printing techniques and website design. A student should also consider taking classes in writing, marketing, and business to get an edge in this occupation. Many designers can also gain their experience first-hand by doing an internship. Portfolios are a necessity as a designer, because it shows the client the talent and experience that the designer has. A designer should keep up with the latest software to stay in the competition and not lose the competitive edge with other designers. There are prominent qualities that an employer should look for when considering hiring a designer; these qualities include analytical, artistic, communication, computer, creativity, and time management
Thinking and discussing about our future and career path is a common topic that often occurs in any school-like setting, but can still be considered taboo to anyone who does not know what they would like to do with their lives, such as myself. The future is still quite broad and unknown, yet I am excited to discover what I will make myself capable of doing in order to thrive and enjoy my future. Although I do have an idea of what I would like to pursue, which is art, my results on the major and career assessment help in further convincing me that the art-field is meant to be the field most suitable for me although it does depict some exceptions.
Traveling and seeing new cultures and capturing every moment of it. Photography has to do with creativity and the practice of taking and processing photos. I chose photography because it matched my personality and all of the things I wanted in a career. Photography is the best career choice based on the work environment, education and training, important qualities needed, salary, and job outlook.
In times, we often see things, but we don't really capture what is beyond it. In some cases, there are people who are artistic and are prone to see what other's cannot visualize. Every individual has a talent which can be expressed and processed differently. Something you see can mean entirely divergent things to someone else;for example, some may see thing's that may seem simple, but in the eyes of an artist, it can be perceived with a whole new definition, dimension, and a potentially new discovery. As a photographer, my view of the world, can be skewed towards looking at everyday objects as potential art, but it wasn't always like that.
When it comes to design, there are infinite methods in which you could approach any given idea. The only limit is your imagination. The particular area of design concerned here are those that are interactive, something that creates a real connected experience between ever evolving technology and the curious general public, as without this spark, it is very possible that the design will be rendered forgettable. In this report, I will discuss some specific methods used for various successful pieces of design, followed by how these have inspired my personal design journey.
I’ve just entered my senior year of high school. I know that this is a very important year. I have a lot of decisions to make and not much time to make them. These decisions will either make or break my life, and I want to make sure that I make them to the best of my ability because there is no turning back. I need to make sure I definitely want to attend college. The decision is totally up to me. There are many positives and negatives of attending college. Go over them, and then decide. I know myself better then anyone else, and I won’t let anyone else tell me what to do. I will make sure if I am going to attend college that I have something in mind that I will want to do, to succeed in. Choosing a major can be a very stressful situation so why not sit down and take some time to do it? Be creative, don’t rush, give yourself plenty of time and really think about what interests you in life. My major is something that I will want to enjoy, something that I will be doing for the rest of my life. Why would I want to be miserable at something I do in life? In two short essays: “College? What’s in It for me?” by Steven M. Richardson, and “What It Means to Be Creative”, by S.I. Hayakawa, I can relate to my major very well. Athletic Training is something that takes skill, as well as being creative in your own way. No two Athletic Trainers are the same. The more creative I am at whatever I do, the better off I will be. I hold the keys to all the doors that can ...
...on then come to my mind graphic design. I was influenced by Students which did graphic design in universities as I was keep researching, it was a fantastic as I have studied in GCSE Art & Design, Design Technology Graphics and A levels Applied Art & Design Graphics. It experienced to discover me that I found finally my deduction.
I believe that this is the correct program for me and I hope that this program will help me foster and develop my creative talents further and become the person I want to be, an architect that leaves an impact on the world. I realize now the power that architecture has and the role it plays in shaping lives as I have seen it shape mine through studying it, and so now I would like to continue my education, so that I can take the necessary steps forward to fulfilling what I want to do in my architectural
Designing in any way is a career that I could say becomes natural to me because it all involves some experience in art and art is the basic beginning of it all.
