Hi Professor, I hope all is well. I wanted to let you know that I submitted my final exam and although I clicked that I would be retaking it a second time, I am pleased with my first attempt answers. I also wanted to know if you had a chance to send me my grade that I received for the second case study? If not I understand that you have many things to grade so I do not want to overwhelm you. I wanted to thank you for everything you have done for the class and myself this semester. This was one of my first online courses at the college and often at times I found it hard to keep up with the course, since we were not in a physical classroom setting. However, you did an amazing job in understanding and approachable. I appreciate everything you
I want to thank you, Dr. Sherry, for all the effort and support you provide to the students. I learned a lot from having you as a Professor, and I’m looking forward having you as a Professor in my other
Thank You, professor for amazing class. I never get up this early, and I failed a class this early back 3 semesters ago. But with your class, I looked forward to coming and letting myself speak on the topic and see what everyone had to say also. Thank you again!
Thanks a lot for everything you have taught us this semester. I have really enjoyed your class and I'm glad that I had the chance to actually think about these topics, some of which I rarely think about!
Prompt: In 500 words or more, describe your collegiate experience thus far. How has this experience and the knowledge you've gained influenced what you plan to study? How have they influenced your decision to apply to St. Edward's?
I wanted to thank Ms. Geary for reminding me how much writing can do for me. It helped me realize that writing isn’t so horrible but it is just hard work. My writing skills have improved due to this class and all Ms. Geary had taught me. She made class fun with her inflections and just the way she says everything, her personality definitely showed through. I looked forward to class but never the homework. Finally after reading over my final drafts of: My Past as a Writer, Problematic Essay and my Exploratory Research Paper I realize that I have dramatically improved my writing skills in every draft thanks to revisions and some positive criticism for Ms. Geary. I think I am now ready to take on the next step in the English world.
Thanks Miss Smith for making Science, History, Art, Drama, and Tech amazing classes. You are a wonderful teacher who makes learning fun, and I appreciate that. Furthermore, thank you Mr. Rague. Without your help, this speech would not have been written. You push every single one of your students to do their best since you know what all of us are capable of. Also, thank you Mr. Hall. I look forward to gym every Wednesday and Monday since you make it extremely amusing. Thank you to Mr. Block as well for helping me understand math better and for leading the 7/8th grade girls to winning the championship. Lastly, thank you Mrs. Rague. Before health class started, I did not know much about the heart, the food groups, the lungs, etc., but with your help I am basically a pro on all of the subjects. Thank
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for all the efforts that you have invested in helping me improve my writing throughout this course. The exertions which you devoted in me did not go in vain. Throughout this semester, I have become more insightful in regard to the process of writing as a whole. Who knew that writing can be challenging yet rewarding simultaneously? Through many challenges encountered in this class and many exercises comprised in this course, I was exposed to new writing process, audiences, and I became more inclined to taking risks in the art of writing. As the semester took form, I came to find myself careworn by certain elements of the writing process. Unlike many writers, beginning to write,
Today, as we graduate, with degree nearly in hand, I challenge each of you to make a difference in whatever you do. Remember that life didn't end when we re-entered school. Life continued throughout our program. Even when stretched to the limit, life only got more challenging. And now, graduating, life only changes pace. Our degree completion is not really an ending as much as a new beginning as we re-enter our lives of work and home. We thank all of our family, friends, instructors and co-workers who helped see us through this process. Thank you for this opportunity and good luck to you all.
Now I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me get this far. First of all, thank you to all the teachers. None of us would be here without you always pushing our academic abilities to the fullest. Jessica Parker a.k.a. my partner in crime as Mr. Tri would refer to us. You made everyday coming to school worthwhile. Hillary Laswell, who would leave third period to go steal flowers from horticulture and give them to Mrs. Granillo with me. My brother Jeramie who always said, "If anyone is mean to you, I'll take care of it." My Mom, thank you for always believing in me and putting up with me when I was a real jerk.
My online learning experience at Walden University is definitely meeting all my expectations for an online Master’s degree. I was often highly frustrated trying to figure out where my assignment etc was located. Walden expectation and standards are very high for their students but for a good reason. Online degrees is what you make of the. As for the instructors they are wonderful. My advisor is always willing to see me through any difficult time that I may be having at the time. The process is going very well for me. I have learned a lot at Walden University, they have a well structured program for experiential learners who want to broaden their knowledge.
Professor Ori, thanks for making my last class one of the best classes I’ve had at Lehman. Before taking your class, I heard a lot of things about you and wondered if I should take the class. I am so soo happy I did as I felt comfortable and actually looked forward to the upcoming classes. I really enjoyed how you made the class fun, interesting and easily to understand. I learned a great deal and will definitely use the information in my future career. Thank you for a good semester and I wish you the best in all your endeavors. *the macaroons so very
In a nutshell, what I thought or expected from this class before attending was ultimately trumped by the skills and information I obtained in the course. I have thoroughly enjoyed every day of class and can truly say that my only regret in your course is that it has to end. I know that not all courses will go as this one has, I know that not all professors will teach their courses the way you have. However, I can still dream can’t I?
My freshman year at Cochrane Collegiate Academy was dreadful. That was the year I took my first online class. At the time I was the only student in the school taking an online class on top of my other classes. I always knew that I wanted to graduate early and I always said it when I was little but I never knew that it would be from Cochrane. I never knew anything about Cochrane just that it was a middle school. At the time, I was against being with middle schoolers it was not until my tenth grade year that I realized attending a 6 through 12 school was going to benefit me. The summer of my ninth grade year, I received a call from the school stating that I was recommended into the iMeck program. I was then told that students would get a computer
...new classes, I soon realized what would be the biggest challenge of college: deciding on a major. Yes, I am one of those people who started college without first declaring a major. I soon heard every question, suggestion, and response regarding possible options. I even began concocting false majors to throw some people off. Large-Scale Demolition was a crowd favorite.
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
