I remember looking at the water and all the seagulls flying up from the water. There was so much noise. Kids screaming, seagulls screeching, and dogs barking. There were so many things to do. Swimming, eating, playing, and talking. I was dressed in a baby pink swimsuit with a bow as an embellishment. I had my hair in pigtails with bright pink rubber bands. My mom and dad were walking from the car with the basket filled with my favorite food suck as applesauce, cookies and watermelon. I couldn't wait to go in the water. I started running towards the water but, my dad in and swooped me up before I could reach there. I sat down for a while and looked around. Everyone got to go in the water but not me. Why? I thought I was so fast that I could go in and out of the water before they could turn around. I started but my mom came and took me in her arms and made me sit down on the blanket she set up. She gave me a tiny price of watermelon just the size of my tiny hands. I stared at the watermelon first to see if it could move and then slowly started devouring it. It was nice and cold for the hot day. By the time I was done, my mom had already taken her book out and started reading. My dad was taking off his cap to come in the water with me. Soon, my mom realized that I have finished and told my dad to take me in the water. I was so excited. I knew how regular water felt but not the beach water. Was it hot? Was it cold? Was it tasty? Was it sweet? Was it yucky?

The closer we walked towards the water, the different color it started to change. First it was blue, then it was green, then it was a combination. Then it was clear. We slowly submerged in the water. It was cold for sure. It felt nice on my skin that was burning from the sun. I laughed and splashed the water when I touched the water. It was a magical moment.
