The horses were whinnying and rustling behind her, and for a moment, she didn't think the tree would restrain them. Her hands smoothed over the rough reins and around the cracked branch they were tied to. The knot wasn't completely secure, but it was firm enough to hold two colts. Unless the animals had a deep, raging vendetta with trees, she wasn't sure any amount of struggling would free them. Eren had begged the captain to let him explore, but Levi wouldn't let him go without an escort. She had volunteered, and of course, he wasn't okay with it. There wasn't much of a difference in the heat, but Mikasa could feel the occasional cool breeze brush past her skin. She started working her pants down and turned around. The leather button was easy to flick open, and by the time she had taken her pants off completely it was too late. Rough, strong hands clutched the sides of her waist and she was pulled backwards. The water was so much colder than she had expected, but balanced evenly with the dry air. Her nose filled with water and her blurry eyes registered the streaks of sunlight woven throughout the crystal pool. It was so beautiful, and it could have been even more beautiful if she wasn't gasping for

The foamy wavelets curled up to her white feet and coiled like serpents about her ankles. She walked out. The water was chill but she walked on. The water was deep, but she lifted her white body and reached out with a long, sweeping stroke. The touch of the sea is sensuous, enfolding the body in its soft, close embrace.
One rather beautiful day I head down to the building fields of Uruk with my only son Urnabe. He is 14 and he is turning out to be a skilled mason or at least better than his old man. When we get there I see that Binfem was already waiting for me.
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
Grady was able to step away a couple of feet away from the mother bear, so he can get a head start of running away from the bear... I stepped away from the bear, so if the bear starts chasing me, I can get a head start running to say my last prayers. I started to run as fast as I could because you don't want to just stand there and be gobbled up for dinner. I ran so fast that I couldn't keep a trail if I lost my family, then I tripped over a piece of twig that made me stop and hear the awful sounds of the bear. After I tripped over the twig, I decided to go back to the campgrounds.

I smash my way the through the dense forest bush, cutting through the leaves with my long sharp machete. The rain pours trough the tiny gaps between the trees. With my shaking hands I slowly pick up a large leaf, and place it under one of the many gaps. As the water steadily drips into the leaf I take a small look around. nothing but green leaves, dirty thick mud and lots of hollow bamboo trees is what I see.
Following the trail, we lost sight of the waterfall for most of the time it took to climb down. As we neared the bottom, huge rocks at the edge of the waterfall blocked all view of it. Once the waterfall became visible, it was more beautiful that ever. From the bottom, we could see the vapors rising from where the falls bubbled into the pool. We could see the rainbow that was made from the sunlight shining through the mist. Since it was such a nice day, we decided to go for a swim.

"Skylar, give me your phone now," Mom says, her voice taking on more of an agitated tone. Come on you stupid phone, I think, trying to delete the messages. I've memorized the phone's controls well enough that I should be able to erase everything quickly, but then again…I haven't done something like this before. We were not very mobile in our diving suits and the ground was an ice rink; one wrong step and a serious injury was likely. Waddling slowly over rocks covered in juniper algae, the city lights were dimming. Most restaurants were closed and due to the city’s budget, the streetlights were barely lit. One by one, we jumped in. The cold water engulfed my body, sending shivers through nerves I had not known existed.
