Waking up with Shay cuddled next to me was magnificent. Her skin felt softer than freshly plucked rose petals, and she smelled even sweeter. I wanted to pinch myself, but I knew I wasn't dreaming because I was wide awake. I pressed my nude body against her warmth, kissed her on the nape of her neck, and tried to wake her up but it was useless. She was out like a light because she worked last night and had only gotten home a few hours ago. I remembered that she went down on me and fell asleep with her head under the covers. The thought of her tasting my goodies made me feel warm all over, and I gyrated my pelvis against her backside. I was in the middle of starting an early morning sex session until my cell phone started vibrating on the nightstand. …show more content…
I released urine from my bladder and checked my text messages too. I tried to figure out how I was going to face Imani after spilling her secrets to Lester. A part of me wanted to jack her up for calling me a loose lip heffa, but I guess she wouldn't have called me that if I wouldn't have told. In the middle of thinking about how I was going to handle Imani, I browsed my through my text messages and opened one from Francisco. The message read: GOOD MORNING BITCH!!!! I laughed out loud; the next message was from Francisco too. There wasn't a written message this time, only a picture of him with a bright white toothy grin wearing a pair of expensive shades. I replied to his message with a smiley face. “That Francisco is something else,” I mumbled to myself as I flushed the toilet, set my phone on the counter, and jumped in the shower. Since I didn't go to work with Shay last night, I stayed home and talked to Francisco. We chatted for almost four hours. I knew his entire life story, where he lived, a few of his lover's names, and their occupations. By the time we got off the phone my battery was down to three percent. We talked about any and everything. Nothing was off limits. He even told me about his horrible coming out
Sticking my tongue out at him, I felt a buzz in my pocket. Taking it out I saw that it was a message from my brother. I haven 't had one of those since my birthday seven months ago.
I arrive home around 11:00 p.m. to a sleeping wife and child. I walked into my daughter Emily’s nursery to give her a kiss goodnight. I leaned in and placed my lips on her forehead as she lightly opened her eyes. I rubbed her back and sang softly to put her back to sleep.
Tweets, texts, and the virtual world are beginning to engulf human society one message at a time. For the past ten years, the estimated phone usage per day has become three to four hours. Those precious hours add up quickly, resulting in a total of one hundred and twelve hours per month spent staring at an animated screen. Children, teens, and even adults are beginning to use their cell phones more and more, and are putting themselves at a greater risk of developing social awkwardness, little persistence, and becoming known as digital natives; all these traits driven within your hand held partner.
I was instantly overcome with an insurmountable feeling of safety. I see your face nuzzling my side, i don't question it. I put my arm gently around you, trying not to wake you up. Unbeknownst to me, you were already awake and you look up and smile at me. I wrap my arm around you and you pull yourself closer to me. We laid like that for hours, not talking, just the soft patter of rain on the widow. After we decide enough is enough we get out of bed and go downstairs to watch some TV, I think Supernatural was on, but I can't really remember. All I know is that you loved it. A couple hours pass and you tell me that you're hungry. So I get off my lazy ass and make you some of the best stir fry you have had in your life. After we pigged out I figured that we shouldn't just sit on those calories, and I make you get up for a walk. We both put on light jackets as it's still drizzling and we don't want to get sick. I unlock the door and we step outside, as soon as I shut the door behind us I grab your hand and we
Then we continued texting about us being bored while Gian just kept hitting me with the short puns. Lots and lots of short puns. The substitute almost caught us. Almost. Since Marina wondered what the substitute looked like I took a picture of her and sent it to Marina.
Do you ever feel trapped when you are in a place that you have never been before? Isolation criticizes society since it does not let everyone be equal or have the same rights. Isolation can completely change a person, and it is usually for the worst. Society “acts” like they try to prevent isolation, but in reality they isolate people for certain reasons, then those people get judged for being “different.” Upon closer inspection it is human nature to deny equal rights because people that do not act, dress, or look the same are labeled as strange, and unfortunately, many times are not accepted by the majority of society. This gives authors a way to shine a light on society’s flaws.
...he night, drinks were passed around, songs were sang, Sully even pulled me to my feet and threw me around for a few minutes in what was some sort of war dance. When I finally was able to sneak away and crawl into my bed, my mind buzzed with thoughts.
I stood there in amazement. A tingle surged throughout my whole body. It was a rush of excitement I had never felt before in my life. When my eyes hit her angelic little body, they froze and I couldn't think or acknowledge anything else around me. The world seemed to stop, hold its place in time, just for that perfect moment. While she slept I stared at this precious little angel. My hands quivered as I slowly reached down to touch her little fingers and feel the softness of her skin. I ran the tips of my fingers very gently across her smooth face, and right away, I fell in love. Then my brother said, "I can wake her up so you can hold her." I was ecstatic, I was finally going to meet her! As I held her, I stared into her gorgeous blue eyes and knew instantly that I would love and cherish her forever with all my heart.
In a study publish by the Marion Institute; Dr. Mercola states, “ More people in today’s world have cell phones than they do toilets. Cell Phones and other technologies have completely taken dominance in today’s world (Falk, 2013). Likewise, in today’s society it is undeniably rare to find a classroom that has distanced itself completely from technology. Today’s classrooms are filled with student taking notes on laptops and tablets, PowerPoint presentations, and the oh-so-sneaky students who seem to think that no one is noticing them as they use their cell phone. The overwhelming question is, is this helpful or harmful? There seems to be many distinct assumptions and opinions on this topic. Some are completely for the integration of cell phones
My mom woke me the following morning. She had decided to bring me breakfast in bed...
In today’s world the vast majority of the population owns a cell phone. Cell phones are a huge part of people’s everyday lives. Since the 1940’s when mobile phones became available for automobiles, phone companies have made huge strides in making mobile phones more efficient, much smaller, and more available for anyone to use. There was a time where only people of wealth had these types of mobile phones. Now people from all social classes own a cell phone. They are extremely convenient and have the ability to do just about anything you can think of. There is an “app” for everything. You can make phone calls, text message, surf the web, pay your bills, read books, catch up on social media, and even listen to you music all from one small handheld device. Cell phones play a huge role in today’s economy. Businesses such as AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint have become huge public corporations with large stakes in the stock market. Between these companies among several other phone companies they have created millions of jobs and opportunities. Cell phone companies have now created what are known as “smart phones”. These phones are typically slim and sleek and have countless versatile abilities. However, cell phones have not always been so “smart” or small for that matter.
These days, it’s hard to find anyone around without a cell phone, but majority are unaware of negative effects. A cell phone is a miniscule device that transmits and takes voice calls and often other messages through wireless receiver signals (“Cellular Telephone”). This diminutive telephone has numerous capabilities such as, taking photographs, producing entertainment, and browsing the internet. Cell phones let others voice themselves in an artistic way and philosophically mobile phones represent how we ourselves reflect and benefit though technology. Knowing the history and evolution of a cell phone illustrates how it has impacted society past and present.
...yed the night there in his arms. I felt so safe and so normal for the very first time in a long time. I loved the connection Timothy and I had and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.
