That was one hell of a cliffhanger last chapter, hopefully I can make this chapter just as good. I’ve lost my glasses while writing this, so I have to get all up on the screen and it’s kind of making it harder for me to type, plus I just started a really big project at school that’s going to be taking up ninety percent of my free time for the next month, so it might be a bit before the next chapter. This chapter is also going to be really short, because it’s right before that two year gap that’s in the game.
“Sane! What do you think you’re doing?”
Chrom stopped his blade a fraction of a second away from hitting my own.
“Get out of the way!”
I stood my ground and shook my head.
“No Chrom, I can’t let you do this.”
Gangrel was on the ground behind me, his arm no doubt shattered based on its angle and a trickle of blood leaking from his temple.
“Killing Gangrel at this point would be nothing short of murder, and you’re not that kind of man Chrom.”
“Murder? Sane, do you have any idea what you’re talking about? Do you know how much blood has been spilled by this madman?”
“No Chrom, I don’t know, but I do know this,”
I looked once again at Gangrel then back to Chrom.
“In every possible outcome I’ve seen, one thing remains the same: Gangrel dies. You might think that’s a good thing, but after Gangrel’s death, something even more evil takes his place.”
Chrom scoffed.
“More evil than him? I doubt that very much Sane.”
Chrom nudged my blade away with his.
“Stand aside Sane. I have to end this.”
I put my sword in its sheath and looked atg Chrom. I willed him to see everything the way I saw it, and to just listen to me.
“Look at him Chrom,” I said softly.
“He’s done. His arm is broken, from the looks of it he’ll most likely...
... middle of paper ...
...he night, drinks were passed around, songs were sang, Sully even pulled me to my feet and threw me around for a few minutes in what was some sort of war dance. When I finally was able to sneak away and crawl into my bed, my mind buzzed with thoughts.
‘I guess... Today was a pretty successful day huh?’
I rolled over and stretched.
‘No... I think successful is a bit of an understatement.’
Okay, so... Question time. Would you like me to totally BS maybe 3-6 chapters worth of events that will occur between now and two years when the story resumes with the Valmese war arc, or should I just skip right to that? Because I finally figured out who Sane is “romancing” and some other details about... I dunno, just general stuff and things that are going to be common knowledge in two years.
Of course, I might just put it anyway but I’d still like to know if you’d read it.
The mercenary laughed. “I told you before Reinhardt. Such outdated virtues have no place in this world anymore. The only thing that matters is to get the job done, no matter the cost.”
The pace of this chapter is a little slow. There is quite a bit of Narration and no new characters. His past is interesting, which is the only reason the story does not come to a halt here.
This installment of the popular series enters its final chapter and promises to live up to previous episodes as this time the future is at stake.
This book is very long, and there are a lot of important scenes, so my summary will be quite extensive.
“I think the motive of getting even with his neighbors and when it went that far — he just went on a rampage.”
"And I say the girl's dead and we all helped to kill her and that's what matters."
Little did I realize that I was dancing with the devil. In the beginning the thought never crossed my mind. You were beautiful and I loved you. You gave me everything I wanted. You gave me confidence and made me strong. You made me outgoing and made me the Social King. Most of all you gave me love. You were there through thick and thin. You were the beacon of light in the darkness that surrounded me. We spent many a night just you and me getting to know the ins and outs of each other. We didn’t need anything or anyone else. We had enough with each other.
1.How does this chapter connect with the previous chapter? this chapter is about the thing that happen at school
The first part only includes chapter one. In this part, we see a foreshadow into the future of the operation and gets hints of what is to come from it.
Everything started a few years ago. It was a warm and beautiful night in Africa; the dark blue sky was full of stars… and those were the last things I remember before I woke up in a cold and wet floor. I do not know where I was, or why I my hands were tight behind my back.
Then I saw him. In the middle of the church half swamped by the blood, he lay. I struggled to my feet and wadded with great difficulty through the coagulating blood. It was definitely him and he had a faint pulse. I dragged him by his arm outside and yelled. The gargoyles that adorned the front of the church were peering down at me. At that moment I saw movement out of the corner of my eye again, but I was startled by the claxon sound warning of a bombing raid.
I believe I did well in my quiz this week, it covered all the pertinent things that we learned this week for Chapter 5 & 6. I’m hoping that I will finish next week stuff a little bit earlier since my paper will be on the Scottsboro Trial and my journal 4.
...e not left with much of an ending, but we can only hope as readers that this will progress the narrator forward in his life.
The sitting man slowly moved his hand towards the blade and held it. The tall man smiled and calmly said “And if you end up by killing him, you won’t be anything but being a tool in the hand of fate”
OUCH! My leg crippled with pain. I tried to shuffle my way to the window, but it was excruciating. As my senses kicked back in, I felt pains shooting up and down my body. Peering down at my hands I screamed. My hands were covered in cold, congealed blood.
