My middle school years were incredible. I went to three different schools during my middle school years. I attended McIntyre Middle School, Millbrook Middle School, and Brewbaker Middle School. All three of these schools were amazing and I did great things at each school. I would love to relive my middle school years. I believe middle school could make or break a child. Many children had problems in middle school but me on the other hand went through middle school with a breeze. I never had a problem with any class or subject in middle school. Many of the students adored me at each school I attended. It was never a problem for me to make new friends. If I could go back to middle school I would.
The first school I attended in 6th grade was McIntyre. At McIntyre I was in the honor Society, and I received the principal academic achievement award. I remember going to school with my closest friends I did ballet with. Kenrietta, Alaya, and Jameshia were some of my closest friends. Til this day we are still really good friends. I

remember always reading first and being the leader in my english class with one of my favorite teachers Mrs. Chapman. In middle school I did have one mean teacher name Mrs. Carter. She was my math teacher who continuously yelled at every student in the class. One of my favorite classes was history, especially when we learned about Greek Mythology. I was the president of the greek mythology club at my school. Moving on to 7th grade I attended Millbrook Middle. I enjoyed going to Millbrook and it was easy to make friends. Every Tuesday in gym we were required to run a mile. In 7th grade I wa so proud that the lowest time I received for running a mile was 6 mins. We learned to square dance in gym as well. In english we received a snack time and watched a movie. I know this was crazy to have a snack in the 7th grade, but our teacher believed in breaks to keep the brain functioning well. The third school I attended for half of 7th grade and my entire 8th grade year was Brewbaker Middle School.
It was kind of easy for me to make friends at Brewbaker, but not as easy as Millbrook. In band class I remember watching the entire roots series to learn about the history of music. I began to participate in many activities. I started to cheer in the 7th grade and that's when I fell in love with cheering and continued to cheer at Brewtech Magnet. Brewbaker was a hectic school. I remember all of the food fights the students would start and I would run out of the cafeteria in fear. It was somewhat funny but I did not want food on my clothes. My teachers at Brewbaker loved me, especially my 7th grade math teacher who I still talk to till this day. I absolutely loved my middle school years considering I went to three different school and always had to meet new people. I met so many great people along the way and made some life long
friends.
I spent grades 4-8 in Wellsburg. Middle school was a very good experience, but I was ready for high school. I loved middle school because we got recess after lunch every day. In my opinion the lunches were better there too. Instead of having advisors, we had B.E.S.T. groups that changed yearly. A few of the things I disliked about middle school was that we couldn’t chew gum or have our phone out throughout the day. The teachers were more
Middle school was a amazing experience, for me anyway. I, myself have changed tremendously from the beginning of 6th grade to the end of 8th grade. Not just in appearance either, on the inside as well.
I had a good year in first grade. I became the best artist in the class. I started getting better at English. My first word was “bathroom.” I made two friends Michelle Sherman and Karen Calle. After that I started feeling better and actually liking this school. Everything felt better and worked out great!
6th grade, and I was saying hello, and now 8th grade has come and it’s gone from introductions to goodbyes as my last days as a middle school student wind down. 8th grade, 8th grade from the opening day to the signing of the yearbooks. This is the year of memories, goodbyes, and regrets. 8th grade and I’m still realizing that there are people in the world that would die to go to a school like this.
Middle school was like for Christine was fun. By noon it was lunch time. She would go home and eat lunch, go to the candy store, and go to restaurant with her friends. The teachers were all old and had grey hair. Her favorite teacher was the 8th grade teacher because she taught all of the kids manners. She let the boys and girls go to there lockers and to the bathroom so they can put makeup on her do there hair. You only had a certain amount of time to put makeup on or fix your hair then you
I make this statement based off of a rather small sample size: myself (my 8th grade science teacher would scold me for this). Nonetheless, middle school was truly difficult. I don't say this because of rigorous courses, or frustratingly strict bathroom rules, but rather because I spoke close to no English for a large part of it.
Some may ask why is life hard. Life is an amazing thing and we shouldn’t take the greatness of it for granted. Today you are going to hear a story about a young teenagers life that has been hiding stuff for his family. This young boy in the story makes it through the struggle he is going through. This is something we all have to do keep our head up and keep going no matter what.
Every school I attended was ephemeral to me since I was changing so often. When I was younger and living in Monterrey I went to a private school during kindergarten, suddenly we moved houses (still in Monterrey) and we had to change to another private school closer to our new house. Later on, during my 4th grade year in school, I was getting many questions from my peers asking me if I was gay or not and even though I wasn’t being bullied it bothered me because I wasn’t ready to answer that question so I asked my mother to change me to another school. After I begged, she moved me to another school for my 5th grade year, but I was only there for that year because the following year I would be moving to Laredo, TX. At the age of 10 I had already been through 4 schools which I believe taught me how to be social and how to make friends quickly. Changing schools also made me realize that friends aren’t always forever and sometimes you need to let them
As much as I enjoyed school as a child, that was not the case when I reached high school. High school was an entire different environment from elementary and middle school. I strongly disliked my classes because I felt that they were too difficult for me and the teachers never had time to explain the course material more efficiently. It felt as though the teachers were
Middle school came along and nothing got any easier. We had already moved like five times, Decatur, AL to Danville to Rapids, WI to Port Edwards then back to Rapids. I didnt know where i belonged or who i was. People always told me, "awe, you look just like your mother," I remember looking in the mirror and just feeling disapointed because i wanted to be my own person. So i tried cheerleading and made more friends. Then I started hanging with a lot of people and that's when i
I have to say that 6th grade was one of my favorite years. I made so many friends that i still talk to every day, and I had some remarkable teachers. I learned so much, all of which i use on a day to day basis, not only in my classes but outside of school. Life would be so much harder without the skills I acquired in all three grades,
In eighth grade, the amazing experiences are far more numerous than the regretful moments. First in eighth grade I believe the best part was the teachers. They have all taught me so much, and I will certainly use what they have equipped me with in high school. They all deserve so much for teaching the "future of the world." I am sur...
It 's 6am and I hear my mother calling me, "if you don 't get up and do your chores you won 't go to school". This was a constant reminder of what our responsibilities were if we wanted to go to Elementary School. For my brothers and I, it was scary to think that we wouldn 't be able to attend school, because there were not many options for us besides working in the farm with our father. Attending school was in itself a job, we had to get up early in the morning and do several chores just to be allowed to go and if we didn 't take care of our responsabilaties our parents would sign us out of school and expect us to go work. It didn 't matter what age we were, everyone was needed to do something around the farm.
Engelmann School of Arts and Science, was the first school I went to. I was so excited to be in Kindergarten that I was chocked to see what was going in. All the kids n my class was crying and clinging onto their parents. When I look back, it is kind of funny how I was the only one in the class that was not crying. So the next day as I got to the door, I started to cry. I thought that you were supposed to cry every time you came in, but I was wrong. Now I was the only kid in my class crying and clinging onto my mother while everyone was laughing and having a great time. My mother, to this day, won't let me forget that.
My school experience has helped define me as a person and has helped guide me through life. I attended a public school in Perry, Iowa. There was a small public school in my town, but it only taught through eighth grade, so everyone attended the same high school. During high school I participated in dance team, football and basketball cheerleading, marching band, color guard, concert band, jazz band, pep band, choir, select choir, drama, Resistance Skills Leaders, National Honor Society, GSA, Skills, Big Buddy, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and speech.
