If I woke up with a ability I would be excited, proud and happy. Imagine how you will be if you had that happen to you! The ability I will have is flying. I had always wanted this ability so that I can fly around my neighborhood. Also that I can go to places that are long to walk to and just fly over there quick and not exhausted. One day I wake up to discover that I have the ability to fly I was so eager, proud and excited. The first thing I do is I eat breakfast. After I did that I sprinted to my friends house and showed him that I can fly. He was impressed and told me if I can fly to his friends house and then come back here in 1 minute. I did what he said and came back to his house. He was surprised since I did it in 0.40 seconds. …show more content…
As we were playing we stumbled across a glitch that made my character have a different color. My friend said it was a cool glitch that I showed him and he thank me for showing him the glitch. As I saw out the window it looks like it's getting dark so I told my friend goodbye and went to my house. when I got to my house I took of my clothes went to the shower and bruy teeth then I want to my bed and go to sleep. After that day it was a school days today so I went over to my friend's house pick him up and carry him to school using my flying powers. When we were next to the school I lifted him down because if people saw I had this power I feel like they will be jealous since I thought if they don't have a ability they will feel sad and not like me.As usual I have 7 Classes and the first one was morning routine then math reading prep then lunch ballroom dancing and writing. as I walked out of the school one random kid went up to me and, ask do you have a flying ability I said no. After that experience I knew that I couldn't tell anyone else even my friends that I had this ability so after that experience I went to bed and just wondered how can I get this ability off of me. The next day when I woke up I found out that my flying abilities were gone I was so happy and excited and now I don't have to make people feel
This one morning while we were all on vacation at Panama City beach, we all woke up at the right time. We saw some dolphins passing by our window and it was so awesome. We watched them pass until we couldn’t see them anymore. Since we were all crowed up around each other I figured it would be a good time to tell my family the plans that I have for the day ahead. I told them that I wanted to go to the pool and so we went to our amazing hotel pool. I was too short to stand anywhere other than the 3-foot area, so when I wanted to go anywhere else I could touch the ground. The pool had these amazing water slides but I was too short to ride on them. I could ride on the smaller one, it went so fast!
I would envision the future by providing first aid care to friends and families and would save them from highly medical bills. The journey began and I became a Registered Nurse; the first generation in my family. I have provided care to my grandparents which suffer from Diabetes. My father suffers from Hypertension and I call him daily to remind him to document his blood pressure reading and to take his daily medication. I enjoy every moment of it.
Growing up as an only child I made out pretty well. You almost can’t help but be spoiled by your parents in some way. And I must admit that I enjoyed it; my own room, T.V., computer, stereo, all the material possessions that I had. But there was one event in my life that would change the way that I looked at these things and realized that you can’t take these things for granted and that’s not what life is about.
With my wings outstrectched i let the breathe of mother earth take me in her grasp as i soar across the land. Down below me i see people smiling and laughing, sitting and crying, and those who just dont know how to quite feel. If only they could see the view from here. If only they could understand the feeling of not having your feet on the ground and letting yourself glide wherever the wind takes you. I have seen night and day, weeks go past and i still find myself soaring along this big blue earth wondering why these poor humans cant fly. They create big airplanes to give them a sesne of what im feeling but its all fake and non realistic. I wish they could soar like me.
Waking up each day, nothing being special or new; you continue on with your life. If I will wake up tomorrow, gaining a quality or ability, it would be having the ability to never give up and staying optimistic. My life is somewhat rather ordinary, ups and downs, but I always try and move on. There are points in life where all I want to do is lay in bed and just forget about everything going on. We reside in a world with many issues, and our society is growing up; addicting to our phones, relying on the internet for help, where shootings and attacks on the innocent almost seem normal. We sit on our beds and accept all the flaws that have been placed in our society. I'm capable to admit that I am as well, constantly forgetting about the concrete
On the Monday October 27th, 2014, for the first time in 4 years I did not wake up at 5:30 in the morning, I was not putting on a green skivvy shirt and shorts. There was no formation, no one that was higher command I had to report to, telling me where I had to go, what time I had to eat breakfast, what was I doing this day or what our platoon plans were for the day. There were no PT (physical training) I had to do this morning. Instead, I woke up grab a regular t-shirt, khaki shorts, and my two sea bags full of clothing and gear that I collected during my time in the Marine Corps. I threw everything in my vehicle and drove from Camp Pendleton, California to Quincy, Illinois. Within two weeks I was accepted to Southern Illinois University Carbondale. For three days, I stayed at the
All of us would love to have personal power, the power to manifest our dreams, the power to remain calm and loving in the face of fear, and the power to stay centered in ourselves in the face of attack.
One sunny morning I jumped out of bed to my mom telling me that today people are placing items in a time capsule for it to be opened in the year 2100 and she asked me if I wanted to put some items in the capsule and I told her I did. At around noon I decided to pick out what I wanted to put in the time capsule the first item I picked was an old game I picked this item because I want people to see what kinds of games we were into back in the day. The next item I decided to pick was one of my shirts so people could see what we liked to wear and are style. The last Item I decided to pick was an old phone so everyone could see what our phones looked like and how they worked. After I picked all my items to put into the time capsule my Mom drove
If I could have any superpower, I would want to have the power to be omnipotent. Omnipotence is the quality of having unlimited powers. If you are omnipotent that means you can achieve and do absolutely anything without any limit or condition. You would be fundamentally invincible, completely immune to all other powers and able to defeat the combined might of all creation. Being omnipotent can let you harvest any power you can think of. You can have telepathy, psychokinesis, teleportation, invisibility, magic, flight, alchemy, and the list progresses. Here is A way to demonstrate my power, if someone I cared about was kidnapped I can use a power of my option like telepathy to connect with the person in need brain and use their eyes to see what they see to figure out where they are. I can use the information that the person gave me and fly over to save them.
My first plane ride wasn’t what I expected it to be. I had been told by my sister, who I now realize is afraid of flying, that it was terrifying. She went on a plane years before me and ever since she has called them “Flying Tin Deathtraps”. However, unlike my sisters, my first encounter flying through the skies was an extraordinary one.
I got my skis on and we went on the moving carpet lift. When we got to the top, my dad told me how to do the “pizza” on my skis by pointing my toes toward each other if I ever needed to stop. He also taught me how to turn by leaning my body one way or the other. I skied down the hill and I didn’t fall at all! I felt that this hill was too easy and short so my dad took me to another hill called The Bunny. There was an actual ski lift there so my dad had to carry me on the moving chair so I didn’t fall off. When we got off then I pushed myself down the hill and as I went down, an exhilarating feeling rushed through me and I could feel the wind through my hair. “That was fun!” I exclaimed. “I’m glad you think so” my dad replied. We went on the Bunny hill a lot after
I will never forget my first day of sixth grade. I was so scared thinking to myself that I wouldn't know what to do. It was seven-thirty in the morning when I got out of the car and stepped out onto the concrete of my knew school. I started to get clammy when I saw all of the big kids coming out of the building. My knees began to knock and I said to myself “I cannot do this.” I heard mom say, “Close the door and just go, you'll be fine.” for a minute I just stood there looking at the building and then I said, “goodbye, see you later” to mom. As I walked up the pathway, I took a deep breath and thought, “here does nothing”.
It was the day I had been looking forward to all summer. It was the day I would be able to take a ride in a glider, which is an unpowered aircraft. Imagine climbing on a paper airplane, and going for a ride. This happened over the summer at an aviation event I attended. I remember waking up in the morning filled with excitement, ready to get up in the air.
It all start when I was still in second grade. Very unwise I was, naive as well. I still consider myself quite naive today just because I want to, but I digress. Back then, I had a friend named James, and he still is my friend. We played video games and such, just like what you expect from kids. One of those days we had brought over a few more people, friends that I knew as well. What had we done you may ask? Hardcore drugs obviously… I’m kidding of course. What we really did was play tag! Now I had an advantage over everyone else, an unfair advantage which I gave myself, because of how I was the slowest out of everyone in the group. At the same time though, this great advantage, had also been a liability.
My alarm clock ringed off at 4am, buzzing underneath my pillow. Immediately, I got up and switched it off hoping no one would awaken. The room was extremely quiet, faintly hear my brother snoring in the room across me. The raindrops on my window were starting to multiply, the sky becoming darker. I was worried. I didn’t know if this was the right thing to do, but I reassured myself that everything would work out. I grabbed my old bag that my mother bought me as a gift for Christmas. It was leather, built with sturdy straps and two slots with zippers that could fit almost everything inside. I grabbed the polished keys from my dresser, opening the window ever so slightly. I quickly hopped out and ran towards the old motorcycle, started the engine,
