If I could have any superpower, I would want to have the power to be omnipotent. Omnipotence is the quality of having unlimited powers. If you are omnipotent that means you can achieve and do absolutely anything without any limit or condition. You would be fundamentally invincible, completely immune to all other powers and able to defeat the combined might of all creation. Being omnipotent can let you harvest any power you can think of. You can have telepathy, psychokinesis, teleportation, invisibility, magic, flight, alchemy, and the list progresses. Here is A way to demonstrate my power, if someone I cared about was kidnapped I can use a power of my option like telepathy to connect with the person in need brain and use their eyes to see what they see to figure out where they are. I can use the information that the person gave me and fly over to save them. Today is the day you hear the story of Areana Holder and her journey of her new power omnipotence. Today was the best day in school history, my grandparents were coming from Barbados. I got the name I am doing for secret Santa. To top that all off I got candy as well. The day just ended and I am just standing outside …show more content…
Next thing I know I am five feet off the floor. I started to think about what could have given me these supernatural powers. The first thing that I thought of was those marshmallows that I got from that strange looking lady. I had no idea what these powers mean. Does it mean that I am a witch, a fairy, or a superhero? I immediately rushed to my room and started to do some research. All the research I did concluded that I was omnipotent. It made so much sense now, to be omnipotent means you can achieve absolutely anything without any limit or condition and able to be fundamentally invincible, completely immune to all other powers, and able to defeat the combined might of all
As a child, I experienced a world of imagination where I was able to do anything I
Today was another interesting day. My friends and I went to our traditional tree to look out, yet another day, for kidnappers. To my surprise, I found some! It was up to me to alert the neighbor kids so that they could capture the man before our parents returned home. These foreign men were always trying to come over and steal us, most of the time we were able to group together to fight them off.
The moment I’ve been waiting for turned out more hectic than I was expecting. From waking up super early to forgetting what to do, the day had its up’s and down’s. So, what day am I talking about? Well about June 22, 2013, the day of my quinceanera, the day I went from a little girl to a woman.
Have you ever had the most important day of your life or the worst that has made an enormous impact on you? Well these people have also had something very a huge impact in their lives and others as well.
Peter Philip Keith grew up with a black nanny and her son. P.K. never had any problems or questions about race mixing, nor did he care. All he knew was that they were very helpful and nice people. P.K then goes to attend school away from his mother so that she can get better. But when he is at school he does not understand the logic behind the hatred towards the blacks.
Today is a particularly miserable day because I have to go to a care home the home of the living dead. I had to retrieve a human called Vivian. I looked at her papers. Her life was as intricate as a Michelangelo painting; a life well lived, however every detail beautifully crafted.
E.M. Bounds wrote a wonderful book devoted to prayer entitled Power Through Prayer. This book encourages the preacher to become a true prayer warrior. E.M. Bounds has written many books on prayer, encouraging Christians to devote their life to prayer. Since the writer is coming from a preacher background himself, one can clearly see the passion he has for prayer in his life. Fellow preachers will hopefully be encouraged by this and want to devote their life to prayer, so that they will better their preaching. Bounds exemplifies through his work that preaching has no power without prayer. He also sets forth the idea that prayer is the life-giving force behind our work for God. In reading this book, it inspires one to pray more and be able to be more effective in their ministry.
In the article by P. T. Greach, Omnipotence, we are faced with the issue of whether God, by the Christian understanding of him, is omnipotent, or almighty, by the true definitions of the word and the English understandings of them. He proves the statement that God is omnipotent, meaning that he can do anything at all, is false. HE proves this statement by using many examples from both the importance of the stability of the Christian belief, and by making statements that are contradictory to the entire view of the concept of God. Being that God's promise to the race of man is deliverance from this Earth to eternal life in Heaven, and that there is an afterlife for man. By this statement of the perfection, being the lack if imperfections, or rather the omnipotence being the lack of impotence is false because God can not break his promise, and he can not lie, or the entire religion of Christianity falls out beneath them. Being another example is that God can not create something that he can not destroy, because the idea of something that God can not destroy is in conflict with the idea that "anything God can make, it's maker can destroy." Because by very definition that something that God created is indestructible. My favorite points that he makes is that God as God cannot have a body or be a man, become tired, oblivious, angry, sorrowful, become violence or be overcome, or be corrupted. God the Son has done these things, but this discussion is about God as God, not God as Man.

In William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, evil is portrayed through various types of situations, characters and symbols. Over the course of time, these boys demonstrate elements of human nature beyond civilized human beings as they are put in a society and environment where there are no rules or civilization set in place. Golding shows that human nature, when free from the constraints of society, draws people away from common sense into savagery. His arguments state that human beings are savage by nature, and are moved by urges toward brutality and dominance over others. William Golding shows that humans, when taken away from there society, hide the potential to be evil which slowly releases from within. The use of characterization, symbolism, and character development are literary devices that Golding uses in Lord of the Flies to illustrate that all humans are inherently evil.

The day started out as any other day, but I seemed more excited than I'd ever been. My happiness was radiating off of me. My friend Sean asked, "Seth, why are you so damn excited today?"
Today was moving day. I was so nervous. I just getting to board my airplane and I remembered that I am leaving New York forever. I started to cry at the airport and I was really embarrassed. But, then I new that I was going to get a little sibling, so that cheered me up.
If I could be invincible for one day I would make the best out of it. twenty-four hours would not be enough for the thingsI would like to do. There is just so much you can do included in that are things perhaps you shouldn't do, but being invincible who would know besides yourself right? Being able to do the unthinkable just might be satisfying. Free air plane rides to where ever your heart desires. I've always wondered what my husband really did when he would "go for a
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers’ license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
