Today was the worst day of my life. My mom gave me good and bad news. The bad news was so horrible. The good news was very surprising. The bad news was so bad, that I started crying. My mom told me that I was MOVING!!! It all started when today, was the day I would be the student of the month. I was so happy that I was finally my turn to be student of the month. I went to school and I got to wear the class crown. The class crown is a crown that the student of the month wears on the first on the first day. The student of the month get to choose what fun activities we get to do for the entire month after we finish our assignments. It was an honor for me to wear the class crown. That day I was so happy that I got to finally be the student of the month. When I came home from school and my mom told me good news. She told me that she was expecting!! But, after that my mom told me that we were going to move to California. Since my mom was expecting we had to move because there was not enough room in our apartment. My whole family lives in United Kingdom. So, my parents thought that it would be a good idea to buy a house in California. I was so sad that I was going to move next WEEK!!! I was so mad that I started to cry. I did not want to leave all my friends, my teachers, my city and leave. My mom told me that I was going to find more friends and even better ones too. I mom told me that I was going to have a room of my own and we were going to live in a better house. My mom also mentioned that my dad was also going to have a good paying job. She told me that my family in United Kingdom, owns a pizza store. So, that kind of cheered me up. Today was moving day. I was so nervous. I just getting to board my airplane and I remembered that I am leaving New York forever. I started to cry at the airport and I was really embarrassed. But, then I new that I was going to get a little sibling, so that cheered me up.

After reviewing my life, I have decided my life defining moment was when my family and I moved to Texas from Oklahoma. I consider this move my life changing moment because it changed so many things in my life. This move set the stage for an entirely new life for me. Moving six hours away from the only home I knew certainly called for many changes.
Hearing stories about your childhood and listening to all of the small things you did, to all of the big things you did for people. And seeing where you got your loyalty from, you can stick with you for the rest of your life.
Today is a particularly miserable day because I have to go to a care home the home of the living dead. I had to retrieve a human called Vivian. I looked at her papers. Her life was as intricate as a Michelangelo painting; a life well lived, however every detail beautifully crafted.
It was a warm April day and all of the students were let out of school for the day. I went home to finish packing with the help of my parents making sure that I had everything and I wasn 't forgetting. I was excited for a week now to go on the trip to Washington D.C. with the whole 8th grade class for a week.
I woke up Tuesday morning excited for the day I was going to spend with my mom. I was sitting at the kitchen table drinking fresh coffee listening to my mom and aunt tease and joke around about how paranoid my mom was about doing well in her classes, my aunt was telling her that maybe now that I was there, she would relax a little bit and have some fun. Our plan was to go to one of mom's classes with her, and then on a tour of UNC and then we were going to go to dinner and a movie.
Many pivotal moments appear in a human beings life to change the way that individual thinks. All human experiences shape the way a person becomes. The death of my 20 year old second cousin changed my perspective on life. It was not because he was close to me or had a huge impact on my life, but because such a young life ended so suddenly. I got to experience how that impacted and even changed certain people. I came to the realization that all those stories on the news actually happen to real life people. These stories seem so unimaginable, but from that point on, I realized that anything can happen to anyone in the simple blink of an eye. I learned that although every human envisions certain things to occur in their lifetime, many aspects cannot
I walked into the school feeling like what is the point of living. I early that week asked out someone and got denied. I was dealing with that my mom was sick in the hospital. She had a sensory overload and a nervous breakdown. It just hit me all that day on how much my life is a wreck. I immediately went to my
The day that we moved the decision was for us to drive to Miami instead of flying because of the amount of belongings we wanted to take with us. We rented a UHaul truck and took our SUV as well. I remember the drive was really fun we were all laughing and having a great time. Even though the drive from New York to Miami is really long it did not feel that way. As we were approaching Florida all I remember was the feeling of butterflies in my stomach and the joy in my parent's face.
One thing that really bothers me is how much I changed. I used to play games all day, not focus on school, wouldn't get in serious trouble, and was very innocent compared to my present day self. There are cons and pros of my past self compared to how I am currently. I am more happy of how I am now then I am before. As time changes, so do I and I can not stop that. What’s done has already been done and can’t be changed so you always have to look towards the future and never the past. The past will not definite who you are today unless you let it. I would have never expect that I would be transferred to a continuation high school in my freshman year. It is a bad thing to many people, but I am thankful that I am sent to it because I will learn
It seems unbelievable my oldest is a few days off being a decade old. I know every parent wonders “where has the time gone?” a multitude of times during their children’s childhoods, but as I realize my son is over halfway to 'adulthood' it seems like the time has flown by.
A lot of people search through life trying to find something that means something to them, something life changing. I experienced my life-changing event when I was 3 years old. I was in a terrible car accident. Realistically, being 3, I do not really remember what all happened – I remember a few details though, the feeling, the pain, and my parents reactions. Their reactions were crucial in the development of my realization of this life-changing event. All through my life I grew up with this crazy thing that had happened in the past and all I had were my parents’ recollections on the events that occurred. But, youth is just kind of weird like that – you tend to hear more about what you experienced than actually remembering it. My parents really
There have been tons of things that I have learned and been taught in my life, by a number of people such as family, teachers, or even friends on occasion. The things they taught me vary from math and other related subjects to just some truly simple yet meaningful life lessons. However, there is nothing quite as unique, quite as special as a person teaching themselves a life lesson. It really is an amazing accomplishment for a person to teach themselves something. It is not quite as simple as another person teaching them something because it is not just the transferring of information from one person to another. The person instead has to start from scratch and process the information they have in their mind in order to come up with a new thought
One of them was that I was on my journey with someone. I was on the journey with my boyfriend Dusty whom I have been with for four years. I am more like myself when I am with someone, especially Dusty, than when I am by myself. I do think that spending time with just yourself is a waste of time. You should just be out talking to people because who knows when that dreaded day of death will come. I think that you should just seize the moment and spend time with people. When I am by myself, I am quiet and withdrawn, but when I am with people, I talk up a storm and have a fun time just being me. I donÕt hold things back or try to act like someone IÕm not.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers’ license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
