One sunny morning I jumped out of bed to my mom telling me that today people are placing items in a time capsule for it to be opened in the year 2100 and she asked me if I wanted to put some items in the capsule and I told her I did. At around noon I decided to pick out what I wanted to put in the time capsule the first item I picked was an old game I picked this item because I want people to see what kinds of games we were into back in the day. The next item I decided to pick was one of my shirts so people could see what we liked to wear and are style. The last Item I decided to pick was an old phone so everyone could see what our phones looked like and how they worked. After I picked all my items to put into the time capsule my Mom drove
I shut my door and ran into my closet picked out a green and black checked plaid shirt it had a grey hood on the back of it. I loved this shirt it was one of my many lazy hoodies as I called it. I put it on my bed, opened one of my dresser drawers, picked out another planet shirt this one was a little whimsical planet shirt. They were having a party and making fun of Uranus. I placed this on my bed too, I grabbed my black high tops out of the corner, and some old worn out jeans, and got dressed. After I was finished dressing, I grabbed my brush and went over to the mirror to brush out my messy brown shoulder length locks. It took me a good 20 min to get it all brushed out. After I was finished, I put the brush down smiled really big in the mirror, grabbed my backpack ran out my bedroom door and down the stairs.
As I exited my house the bright sun shot rays of sunshine into my eyes making me squint and admire the view. After a hard day of work in the heat I see a old lady sitting in a horse carriage waiting, as I approach my home she says “Hi there, I’ve just had my home built recently and was wondering if you could help me move somethings into my house?”. Sure I replied, the lady showed me where her belongings were stored and one by one I carried in her light furniture and containers.

One Valentine's Day, in a classroom, kids were exchanging cards. Two of them, named Ted and Jim, were best friends. After the exchange, they showed each other the cards that they got from people. They both received a strange card with no writing on it. As they showed each other these cards, there was suddenly a blinding light coming from the cards, and the next thing they knew, they were standing in a dark, quiet room instead of their noisy 4th grade classroom.
Once there was a boy names Terra, he was 7 years old. Today was his birthday. His parents didn’t know what to buy for him so they decided to take him to a store so he can pick what he wants. He went to a history section of the store. The section was filled with history sculptures. He was very interested in history. The other day he read about Terracotta Warriors, so he went right away and picked the Terracotta sculpture. His parents asked ‘Are you sure you want this?’. His parents were surprised that he didn’t pick stuff like books or toys. It was fifty six dollars.
One summer day on May 23, 2014, I was in the kitchen all day trying to find a way to keep my little brother, and dad from stealing my peach rings. Peach rings are these gummy like candies that tasted of peach with this really yummy sugar on them. But everytime that I get to get a bag of them they are gone in the first few minutes I have them. So I came up with this genius idea to put raw spam in my peach rings so that no one would eat them. Because everyone in my family hates spam. So one day when my parents were at work I quickly had to figure out a way to put the spam in the peach rings so they won’t eat them. Then it happened I could make peach rings with raw spam in them so my family will stop eating all of them.
Imagine being in the year 3030, since the year 2016 there have been many advancements in architecture, landscape, and the environment. The architecture of large building and houses has gone through many renovations and technological advancements. Not only the buildings, but the landscape has evolved too. There are still blue skies and the sun is still shining bright as it was years ago, but the buildings have gotten so high and large that you can barely see the sky anymore. As we continue to pollute the air, clouds are always covering the sun. Earth's environment has changed since the year 2016 as well. We used to always see grass, trees and flowers almost anywhere you go, but that has changed. Now whenever you walk you will see buildings, roads, and railroads. In the future, if I could design a neighborhood, there would be advancements in houses and buildings, a change in the landscape, and the environment.
Kristi had a caring moment when a fellow student gave her a small gift. Kristi would carry a pink, “hello kitty” coffee cup with her to lecture every day. A classmate always complimented her on her cup each time she brought it. One day before a test her classmate handed her a pink, “hello kitty” pencil. The classmate said she was out and saw the pencil and it reminded her of Kristi. She bought it and gave it to Kristi.
It was the last Saturday in December of 1997. My brother, sister, and I were chasing after each other throughout the house. As we were running, our parents told us to come and sit down in the living room. They had to tell us something. So, we all went down stairs wondering what was going on. Once we all got down stairs, the three of us got onto the couch. Then, my mom said, “ Well…”
It was a sunny Thursday in April and we had just gotten back from spring break. I was tan, well-rested and I still had in my cornrows that I had gotten done in Aruba. After getting my pizza, my mom told me we were going to the mall as soon as I finished. Slightly confused, I ate my pizza and got in the car. Once at the mall, we looked around the dress section of Lord and Taylor. I picked a fun, ruffled yellow dress. I went to try it on, but it sadly did not fit. While we were walking to put back the dress, a familiar voice shouted, “Surprise!”
Out of the corner of my I eye there was a tiny silver peanut on my holder, he whispered a date, 2024 I nodded my head and poof! We took of in a spiral of colors. Glancing at myself and the peanut as well at the polar bear I saw that we were a really ugly color yellow maybe the most ugly yellow ever seen, it made me so nauseous, that I had to close me eyes. I heard a weird buzzing sound so i opened my eyes
This old/new bus continued our route, and we all sat quietly, awaiting our stops. Everyone had a tired, almost forlorn look, as though they had been through much more than just switching buses. I did not have any concept of time as the bus chugged along, stopping occasionally to let people off, and all of a sudden I recognized that it was almost to my stop. I jerked out of the stupor I was in as the bus stopped in front of my apartment complex. As I gathered up my things to leave, I looked at my friends and said, "Well, this will make one interesting story at school tomorrow!"
Looking through their online textbook, they find a funny fact. Sandra laughs and says to her friend, Laura, “Haha, omg this is so funny. It says here in the textbook that people in the 1970’s used to have to handwrite all their papers and carry huge textbooks around and they had to sit in big classrooms and listen to a teacher all day! That would have been awful!” Laura looks at Sandra through their hologram and says, “Yeah, I guess. I feel like that would have been a lot easier though.” Sandra gives her a look of disbelief and claims, “No, it would not have Laura. You would have looked up every answer by hand and wrote all your papers by hand. Technology has made education so much better because it lets us get our papers done when we want.” Although Laura disagrees with Sandra, she goes along with it, “Yeah, I guess. I am glad that they started using technology in education, or I would have hated
Then the phone rang and Dad answered it. It was hard to tell what the conversation was about, it did not last long and Dad didn’t say much. When he hung up he was quiet. Then Mom asked, “Who was that, honey?” Blunt and to the point he said, “Grandma,” (his mom) “Grandpa got sick last night.” Suddenly I was not hungry any more. “What’s that mean?” Mom asked, taking the words right out of my mouth. Dad did not really know. All Grandma said was that Grandpa got up in the night, went to the bathroom, and then yelled for help before collapsing. She called 911 and an ambulance came and got him. From the hospital in Spirit Lake he was life-flighted to Sioux Falls.
He asked if I was done eating? I said I was done so we left the restaurant. It was one hell of a restaurant, I wonder if they have one in Rochester,Mn. We drove to Rochester,Mn, it took us about almost two hours. when we got to the city, I got nervous. This is it, the moment I’ve been waiting for, all three of us were standing outside a huge house. I’m finally going to see my mother, and I’m going to live with her, till death do us apart. Or marriage, hahaha. I ran to the front door of the house and knocked couple times, unable to hold in all the excitement. After the fourth knock my mother opened the door. I just stood there and froze, she was wearing a dress, a beautiful dress. It was turquoise and it had white flowers all over it, and she wore a white scarf over her head. My mother is a very beautiful women. she had the most mesmerizing light brown eyes ever. But age was getting to her, you could see the wrinkles around her face. I was brought back to reality when, my mother screamed my name, and grabbed me. I wiped my tears away quickly and hugged her back. we were like that for a bit, we even forgot about my brother and my uncle, who stood behind
