It was just strange. One morning I wake up and the baby’s just not there anymore. For me, I wanted it back immediately. So we started trying immediately. I think ultimately, I felt very lonely. And I shouldn’t have because I had an amazing family — my husband’s so supportive. But I felt so alone."
Jamie and Doug could not be more excited about their baby on the way. Jamie did have a hard time after she lost her baby, though. She spoke out on her blog and wanted everyone to know it is okay to feel that way and to talk about it.
"You can’t talk about this. It’s so uncomfortable to bring up, even if it’s your friend. It’s very awkward — it’s a tense moment to talk about! So I would write and I would blog and these women from all over would say, ‘Oh I never had the chance to talk about my loss before because it’s so uncomfortable.’ I just wanted to reach out on their behalf — to speak on their behalf. This should be something we’re allowed to talk about. Why do women have to hold this in and not talk about

Jamie knows that women who haven't told anyone they are pregnant yet and then lose their baby are really lonely. She was really glad that wasn't the case for her. Doug teased that he is always up for practicing to have babies, so they went right back to trying right away. They are a little worried they could lose the baby again, but hopefully, that isn't the case.

“She had withered and shrunk in on herself, and it began when they lost that baby,” (Ivey 20). “She should have allowed herself that grief,” (Ivey 4). The novel The Snow Child explores the reactions, guilt and grief corresponding to the experience of a miscarriage. The relationship between miscarriage and grief has been given sparse attention over the years. People vary in the way they respond to a miscarriage; anywhere from age to gender or even a child that was conceived after the previous miscarriage. Studies have been conducted over the years to observe the connection between grief and miscarriages and as a result different variables have been formed and scales and stages have been established.

Every mother has different child birth experiences which makes bringing in a new life so special for many. After giving birth it is very common for mothers to be in an emotional state. After all of that happened I knew that my whole family was going to change because of this terrible incident. That was the saddest thing about that because La’maya really brought my family together. I don’t know why, but it did and that was a exciting thing for me. This really was a blessing for my family because before her my family didn’t really hang with each other they were always arguing and just boring. But after the baby passed everything changed. The day after I found out I didn’t cry until I got to school and I had a basketball game that day. I didn’t want to play basketball or nothing. I just wanted to go home then go home and get back in the bed. But that didn't happen I went to the basketball game and for some reason I just felt
During the terms of pregnancy, women truly experience life-changing moments. From the moment the baby’s first kick is felt to the time of the baby’s departure after a nestled nine months in the womb, changes are occurring everywhere physically and emotionally in and with a woman's body. While bringing in a new life is an exciting and eventful time, new mothers go through a whole different experience and some may even face a prolonging case of postpartum depression. Unlike a sense of the “baby blues,” a short-lived period of feeling sorrow and separation following their new delivery, postpartum depression is a mental health illness that lasts for a longer period of time affecting the mother’s mind and actions. Waiting on those two little pink lines was like waiting on honey to be pour on a cold January morning. I received a text that changed my life forever; my best friend since middle school just told me she might be pregnant! My first thought was how she could be so stupid then panic set in what in the world was she going to do, however the main thought was she was not the mother type. My friend was like a tombstone, she could be cold, ruff, and hardheaded. She never really took the best care of herself either if it require physical, mental, emotional work then it was not for her. The weeks seemed to blur together waiting for her doctor’s appointment to confirm my worst fear. The doctor walked in with a big smile on his face he said “ congratulations you’re going to be a mom” My friend's face fell we walked out of the doctor’s office in a daze; I had to be the one to ask the hard question of what in the world are you going to do? My friend stared at me and gave an answer I least expected she said, “I’m going to have this baby despite all odds. The night after the doctor's appointment she called to tell me she and her boyfriend broke up and she was going to need me more now than ever. I ask why they break up. She told me that he told her that he was not ready to give up his life for some little baby that would require it to be put first, and he wasn’t about to give up the lime l...
“Everything is going to be O.K.,” my mother said, before walking into her bedroom and crying her eyes out. Throughout my teenage years I had it made. I had security, support of my family, and everything I could ask for. When I turned 16, I found out something that would change my life forever, I was pregnant. Being pregnant at a young age is a very difficult thing to go through. It can be hard mentally, financially and also physically.
Rewind to a couple months ago to the day before Mindy and Johnny had told my mom. I slept over at their house and the first thing they did was to show and tell. First Mindy told me that she was pregnant, then she showed me the ultrasound. I was so happy, I was ready for a new niece or nephew. Then the next day we went to my mom’s restaurant They told my mom

It points out that it is hard to have a social life and a good relationship at the same time as raising a baby because one has to dedicate all one’s time to the child. Her 16-year old boyfriend started looking for jobs with a mix of excitement and fear at the thought of becoming a father of three. But when month ten rolled around and there were still no babies, the truth came out. A family member told the Washington Post that the teen had lost the triplets around six weeks into the pregnancy. The police is now investigating the claim.
One particular couple on 16 and Pregnant went through a lot as teenagers, not by having a baby so young but having to give it up for adoption. Catelynn and Tyler lost the one thing that meant the most to them, their baby Carly (Messer). Catelynn said “Giving up her baby girl Carly to a more...
