As word of her impending good fortune spread on social media through the “Moms of Triplets” Facebook group she joined, gifts started “pouring in”. The triplet sensation grew exponentially and the teen received “tons of help.”
“The gifts, they couldn’t even open at the shower there was so much,” Jessica Adams, an aunt, told the station WJBK.
Her 16-year old boyfriend started looking for jobs with a mix of excitement and fear at the thought of becoming a father of three. But when month ten rolled around and there were still no babies, the truth came out. A family member told the Washington Post that the teen had lost the triplets around six weeks into the pregnancy. The police is now investigating the claim.

Not-so hilarious jokes
This is not the first time a pregnancy prank backfired. A couple of months ago, the video of a girl who thought it be fun to trick her boyfriend went viral. She called her partner into the room and showed him a fake pregnancy test along with an ultrasound image. Immediately, he accused her of cheating on him because he couldn't have children; however, it actually turned out that the guy saw the camera and decided to prank his girlfriend
For just thousands of dollars more, women going through in vitro fertilization can later choose to have a certain gender with perfect vision, a great heart, a natural ability for sports, and being able to avoid diseases (Angelle). Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis was first inaugurated in 1990. “It has become an important complement to the presently available approaches for prevention of genetic disorders and an established clinical option in reproductive medicine” (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis). This has come in handy because it gives you the opportunity to create a baby free of health risks and you are able to freeze your eggs if you miscarry or if something harmful goes wrong with the first egg. Designer babies are created using In Vitro Fertilization. Using this technique, doctors can fertilize the egg with sperm inside the laboratory using a test tube. Doing so you can reduce the chance of the child being born with a genetic disorder and the parents can actually then on choose the sex of the baby. In some cases couples have used PGD to their advantage to save one of their children. Some babies sole purpose is to be created to save the life of their own sibling. Jamie was the first “designer” baby in Britain. “He was genetically matched to his four-year-old brother, Charlie, in the hope to curing a rare type of anaemia which threatens the older boy...
Gabi Rodriguez is a senior in high school and must come up with a project to graduate. Her first idea was to do statistics in foster care. She gets a name of a girl who is foster care from her teacher, Tyra, and when she is talking to her, Tyra tells her that she’s pregnant. She talks about how things have changed since she became pregnant, and
“The first essential requirement for nociception is the presence of sensory receptors, which first develop in the perioral area at approximately 7 weeks gestation and are diffusely located throughout the body by 14 weeks” (Meyers 241). Nociceptors are sensory receptors in the body that respond to stimuli that is in the form of pain. This means that an unborn child is in fact capable of comprehending and feeling pain. Abortions are commonly performed into the 14 week mark and sometimes even into the late 20’s. The malpractice of abortion should be outlawed for many reasons.
Teen pregnancy has become an epidemic in the United States alone. Today, more than half of all teenagers report having had sexual intercourse at least once before leaving high school (Glazer, 1993). Each year, almost 750,000 U.S. women, aged 15–19 become pregnant (Guttmacher Institute, 2011).
Before watching “Life’s Greatest Miracle,” I knew conceiving a baby is a complex and difficult process. However, I did not realize just how complex and difficult that process actually is. Conceiving a baby takes a lot more than meets the eye: it takes DNA from both genders, the right timing and so much more.
As a social worker I would have used the self-esteem intervention. At that point I would have believe that this is what she needed now. She had even felt bad that thus happen and stated that she didn’t know, and the school only teach absence. This helped me to understand that she did not have the knowledge of what she was doing and did not expect to get pregnant.
Noninvasive prenatal testing using maternal serum has developed since the triple and quadruple screening tests were established in the late 1980s and early 1990s. “First trimester aneuploidy screening is a new screening approach consisting of an assessment of maternal serum markers in conjunction with the sonographic measurement of the back of the fetal neck” (Farrell 5). This procedure can be done “as early as eleven weeks into gestation,” and gives information that is similar to that given by the triple and quadruple screening tests, which cannot be completed until after fifteen weeks of gestation (Farrell 5).

At the time, my wife Jeanne was pregnant with our soon-to-be daughter Tahlyn. We had waited eight long months for her to arrive, and finally her due date was getting closer and closer. The excitement grew stronger as the days went by.
To start this off, conception is the action of conceiving a child, and pregnancy is the period from conception to birth. They both share the same meaning: the process of getting pregnant. Conception happens when a sperm penetrates on one of the female’s eggs. Then, at around day 14 of a 28 day cycle, the egg leaves the ovary, and it is surrounded by a protective layer of cells. The fallopian tube is lined with cilia, which helps move the egg towards the womb. This is called ovulation. In the next 12-24 hours, the egg waits to be fertilized by a single sperm. The sperm then swims through the womb to meet the egg in the fallopian tube. And the sperm secretes enzymes to help penetrate the outer layer of the egg. Once the

Matt Sheehan of The Washington Post describes that birth tourism in the U.S. is most practiced by those from Asian and Latin American countries. These “tourists” frequently stay in secretive, usually illegal, hostels and homes where they can pay a certain fee and be taken care of during their birth while also remaining hidden from U.S. officials. Popular locations for these foreigners to find this sort of help include Miami (especially for Russians and other eastern Europeans), Los Angelos, and New York City (Kessler).
The public is not interested in couples alone but also the fruits of those unions: celebrity offspring. As any celebrity gossip-follower can attest, pregnancy is very “in” right now. Articles and programs speculate about which Hollywood stars are pregnant or wish they were; Jennifer Aniston and her Friends costar Cour...
An obstetrician is one thing, and a gynecologist is another. The job is combined together, but the two branches can be worked separately. An obstetrician is a physician who focuses and is trained in the management of pregnancy, labor, and pueperium (the period following childbirth). A physician who has specialized and trained in the health of the female reproductive system is a gynecologist. The reason the jobs are combined is because they’re both all about women. Obstetricians and Gynecologists are physicians who provide general medical care to women. They equip medical care associated with pregnancy or childbirth, and they diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases, especially those affecting the female
