What is stress? Stress is state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. Stress can from depression, work, and much more. One doctor says, “Stress is a silent disease.” During this experiment, it shows that stress do have an effect on pregnancy. It can cause little to no or life threatening harm to the mother and the fetus. Everyone stresses, it's not something only pregnant people get. Pregnancy is a period or milestone that is a big change. Your mind, body, soul, and life are changing. These changes may be a rude awakening, but they can add new stresses and drama to your life. (Health & Pregnancy 1) How can it affect the baby and its mother? Well everything the mother do, it has an effect on the child and vice versa. It's almost as the mother and child is 1 person but its 2 people. One activity can cause a severe harm to either one but mainly the baby growing inside the womb. This is a severe cost to the woman and the baby life's. There are ways to prevent this from happening, sometimes stress is caused from depression which is normal state everyone goes into. To prevent stress you have to relax more and maybe try bed rest with some doctors recommend when you. Your body change can cause your mood to change. Mood swings can make it harder to handle stress. (March of Dimes 1) If you ever around a pregnant woman you would notice she can get from happy to sad within a matter of seconds. One minute she is happy and excited, the she is sad and discomfortable about her appearance. Then she’s back to being sad again to depression, then back happy again. It’s a complete cycle for 9 months like precipitation is. It starts from one source travels through and end back at the beg... ... middle of paper ... ...f a bed rest you'll need calm down your stress levels. The test is very simple. The pregnant woman will sit in a comfortable chair have 2 belts attached to her stomach, and clicks the beeper when she feels a movement. The printed just runs out the stress levels. This is also called the Braxton-Hicks contractions (Braxton-Hicks contractions 1). Stress is not all bad. When you take procedures to get it right, a little stress can’t affect your baby. Regular stress during pregnancy can come from overworking yourself to hard. Harmful work measures can cause your baby to be premature which is very serious. Data shows that women who have stress problems that are dramatically high can actually turnout to ae health babies, but to take pre-cautions because it’s not that many lucky people to have high stress levels and still be able to have a healthy baby.
