One sunny afternoon my friends and I decided to go on a road trip to a small resort. We packed everything up and decided on the way across the Wisconsin Bridge that we all wanted to go to the Wisconsin Dells. This car ride was about to be long because not everyone in the car gets along. Britney just continued to yell at Bryce "Put your seatbelt on." "No, I'm 18, I can do what I want." Bryce replied back and became very frustrated. I thought to myself that this is about to be an even longer car ride than I thought it would be. "Brittney stop yelling so much." I yelled back at her. "Why does it matter? I'm just trying to be a good friend and save a life." I rolled my eyes and just ignored everyone the rest of the ride. While Bryce and Brittney argued the entire time. An hour later we were the hotel checking …show more content…
She replied back " Here are the cards, and you guys are in room 420. Any questions that you guys have, just call down to the office. Have a great stay!" We all raced up to our room and got unpacked. We were all just ready to party at this point. Bryce yelled "I'm ready to get smashed! Who else is with me?" Everyone yelled back "Hell Yeah!" " Yee yee, I so needed this break" Chance said calmly. We all decided to head to the water park first. We all walked inside and I shouted " Holy Huge". We all looked at each other and thought "WOW." "Where do you guys want to go first?" Britney asked "I think we should hit the lazy river for a while. That long car ride hurt my back a lot." Bridget stated. We all looked at each other and then all shook our heads yes, that we wanted to go there first. "Watch out! (splash) You guys getting in? It's really warm" Brett yelled "Aright, I'm going to jump in." Said Brit We all got in and floated for a while and then went back to the hotel room to get food. We all ended up falling asleep early so we could spend all day in the resort on Sunday before we
“I wouldn’t do a thing like that. Why would I do a thing like that?” she said.
one by one, we all piled in to the living room and thankfully my mom
“Yeah,” I said. I got up and looked down. “Hey Izel we’re on top of Mauna Kea,” I said.
We walked around San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico a little. Then we went to the ferry that was taking us where to Culebra. It was about 1pm by now. The ferry ride was about an hour and a half long ride. It was raining a little so we couldn’t sit outside of the boat and see the view. I ended up falling asleep for about half the ride. When we finally got to Culebra, we were so happy. It wasn’t raining anymore, the sun was out, and it was beautiful. At the time we didn’t have car so we were kinda stuck there. After a half hour of calling places to see if they had any cars for rental we finally found a place. We rented two big black jeeps for the next 10 days. When we got the cars and we could drive them around, we drove up the mountain to the house we were staying at for the
It was a bright sunny day and the lake looked like glass, perfect to go water skiing. My dad, brother, and I decided to go get the boat ready for our trip. We had to get the sunscreen, refreshments, and water skis. Once we all got in the boat, we had to untie the ropes that were tied to the boat and the dock and lead the boat out of the dock without it colliding into the dock..
He looked down at the young girl holding your hand. She looked back, her small face creased in worry, “Don’t people want to die when they get old?” Donnie smiled at her, “No, no one really wants to die.”
We walk towards the ride and see my mom recording. I get on and buckle my seat belt with caution
We sat there for a few more minutes then I got up and yelled for everyone to get ready to start moving again. I donned my pack and tightened the straps, and after making sure everyone else was ready, started off down the winding trail to the night’s campsite.
Growing up as an only child I made out pretty well. You almost can’t help but be spoiled by your parents in some way. And I must admit that I enjoyed it; my own room, T.V., computer, stereo, all the material possessions that I had. But there was one event in my life that would change the way that I looked at these things and realized that you can’t take these things for granted and that’s not what life is about.
“I suppose that I have never properly thanked you for saving my life. I am sorry for that. I was not sure then that I wished it saved.”
I got all my stuff together and put it in my back pack. We walked down with Beau and
it was mad. So my friend Sarah and I decided we would leave them to

Before I knew it, we were pulling up to the cabin. When we stopped, the first thing I did when I got out was take a deep breath. Then I said, "What do you guys want to do?" Chase just shrugged his shoulder.
I stood there, trying not to tremble. I anxiously counted the people in front of me and realized that after this next cart it would be my turn. The people ahead loaded up, the ride workers checked the lap bars, and then off they went, heading up the hill. Everyone in line, including myself, moved up to fill up the void left by the people who had just loaded on. I must have been shaking a bit because my sister who was behind me tried to calm me down.
