I will achieve this by having set time for my family and schoolwork. I will also take my work laptop home only three days a week. I will reserve every Friday night for family and every Sunday for church. My third goal is to become more tolerant of my associates when they do not understand. I will accomplish this by realizing when and taking steps to prevent this. The outcome will be that my group feels free to come to me with questions and this will avoid costly mistakes and avoid rework. My fourth goal is to upgrade my management skills. This will be accomplished by observing individuals that I look up to with proven management skills (e.g. my director and pastor). The measurement of the goal will be to advance within the company. Another measurement would be to manage a harmonious group and enjoy going to work. My fifth goal is the last but by no mean least, it is my lifelong goal to please God and make heaven my home. Through the self-assessment instruments utilized in this program, I have gained wealth of knowledge about my strengths, and weaknesses and how they affect my personal and professional life. By using different exercises, I recognized new strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, I identified ways to develop my strengths and overcome my weaknesses. The Kolb Learning Style Inventory (LSI) identified some of my strengths as the ability to get things done, initiating, and taking risks (Kolb, 2007). In the Strongest Self Feedback Exercise, some of the feedback listed my strengths as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being self-confident, a fast learner, determined, hardworking, and an awesome listener (Drucker, 2005).

The personal plan has enabled me to track myself on my developmental changes that are important for my achievement of set goals.
