This can be demonstrated by closing the curtain or door while providing patient care. As well as actively listening to the patient and being available for them. In provision 5.4 Personal integrity is an aspect of wholeness of character that requires reflection and discernment; its maintenance is a self-regarding duty (ANA, 2015). This is doing the right thing even when no one is looking. It is following the best practice models set by the facility in which a nurse works. It is not taking a shortcut to save time but it is always putting patient safety
