Family is a word that many people are familiar with, but rarely define. The formal definition of family is a household that contains one’s parents, siblings and often your normal house hold pets such as fish, dogs or cats. Some people may believe that family is a group of people who just love and support you while others believe that family means nothing because they may have been hurt by them or may consider a group of friends to be their family instead. My personal definition of family is a group of individuals that love, trust and supports someone through anything they go through and will always stand by their side no matter how good or bad the situation may be. When I tend to think of family, the first thing that pops in my mind is love. Love is defined as a deep feeling of affection towards a person or object. Trust, an important factor in any relationships, provides a close bond between individuals and helps them confide in each other. Also, trust makes someone feel more comfortable with those around them and makes them feel confident enough to tell them everything that is going wrong with them. Personally, trust to me is critical when it comes to family. Without trust, there is no such thing as a family. Though others may disagree, I believe that trust means someone or people that someone can talk to without feeling as though they need to limit themselves to what they want to talk about. An example of this would be when I wanted to get something of my chest but I knew I could not tell my actually family because I knew there would be judgment and they would tell everybody. So, I decided to confide in two friends of mine because they have been through this situation before and I felt like their advice would help me feel more confident in me and also gave me a reason to trust in
