As a pediatric nurse you must know how to handle sensitivities. Have great communication skills and be able to inform and educate worried and scared parents in a professional manner. The minimum salary for a Pediatric Nurse is 67,490 a year as of May 2015 and 98,190 for a BSL a year. I've always been interested in the medical field itself, now that im in school I am slowly but surely narrowing it down to what it is exactly that I want to take up in the medical field to make a career. Pediatrics are looking to grow by 16% by 2024. This information is very relevant, and it plays a big role in how I go about with my goals, both short term and long term. Step taking, and time management will play a big role in me choosing this as my career choice.
