1.0 Introduction IKEA is a Sweden company which registered in the Netherlands. The founder of IKEA is Ingvar Kamprad who is 17 year old in 1943. IKEA is acronym of Ingvar, Kamprad, Elmtaryd and Agunnaryd. The first and second letters is the founder name and the third and forth letters is the farm and village where he grew up. Ingvar Kamprad was developing IKEA into furniture retailer by using strategies of self assembly, advertising, using catalogue and showroom in order to reach the people. Ingvar Kamprad was introduced furniture into IKEA product line. He employed local manufacturer so he can save cost. Organisation culture is the basic pattern of shared assumptions, values and beliefs that govern behavior within a particular organisation (Ahmad et al, 2009). IKEA consider sincerity and open character is important between employee and management because it promotes solidarity and creates a harmony work environment in the organisation.
