The process was good even if I found some difficulty in assessing a pseudo code that wasn’t too clear, I hesitated in the beginning on how to assess the assignment and what grade to give to it, but the solution given by the instructor helped me a lot in resolving this issue. The peer assessment process provided me, as always, a good opportunity to discover different views and new ways to resolve a problem or to answer a question or an assignment.

As I opened the front door of the IBM Building, my next chapter in life began. My eyes widen as I observed my teacher writing code on the smartboard. Uneasiness and fear rushed down my spine. I was the only person among fourteen girls without prior knowledge of coding. I spent eight hours in a confined room learning how to code. My computer science teacher appointed assignments in HTML and Python.
The test taking lessons have helped me learn more about having good strategies for a test. I feel that with these lessons learned I can have more confidence to take a test and pass it. In this report I want to show why test taking is an important skill to learn. I also wanted to describe how I have prepared for test in the past. I also wanted to discuss three strategies I have learned from the computer tutorial in class and how I have changed my study habits so I can do better on test.

As usual, I started off by going through the learning guides to find out about this unit’s assignments and activities. I conducted the peer assessments first which helped me review my own work as well. Once I reviewed other’s work and reviewed the solution to the written assignment for the unit, I went back to see my own work. This helped a lot as I could see the actual solution to the problems, and other’s perspective and point of views to solve a problem in mathematics.
Most of my computer science courses were taken in my freshman and sophomore years. One of my Java course required every group of two to code the game, Monopoly, independently in a month. From this project I developed fundamental coding skills and basic knowledge of object-oriented programming. After many coding practices, keeping the code neatly and making necessary comments after lines became my coding habits no matter what kind of language.

Overall my experience in this course was much better than the others this semester. I felt that the information and learning came much easier. I enjoyed the class materials, and the professors did a very good job responding in earnest to my assignments submissions. Because of the much better experience, I truly believe I have become a better writer, better organizer, and better critical thinker. Also with the professor’s guidance in my writing assignments, I have improved my analytical and writing skills as well as developed a greater organizational skill. In future, this course will more than likely help students with their other courses when it comes to time management and writing papers.

In my conclusions this is a better topic for someone in a more advanced class but it is a good way to save time when writing involved programs. I hope to learn more about this subject as I progress in my programming, and use this newfound knowledge to my advantage.
The project required certain programs to be coded. My prior experience in programming was as good as nothing. School turned out to be of very little help during this time. So, I started taking online lectures offered by MIT. Hours were spent completing the coursework and ten times the same amount of time was spent practicing and getting better at programming.
