Wreck-it-Ralph is a prime example of how complicated the game world can be. Whether it’s fighting mutant bugs or an arcade character gone turbo, the game world is quite an interesting place. However, the world where people develop such games is quite more interesting, especially in the video game world. Video game industries have created many memorable characters such as Sonic, Mario and Link who have stood the test of time and still remain popular and fresh for each new generation. Sega, the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog has been a long time runner in the video game industry. Their rival, Nintendo, decided to team up with Sony in order to create a console that would rival Sega. One of the most notable games created for the console was none other than Super Mario Bros which gained a huge amount of popularity at the time. “The NES controller [consists of] a D-pad and two buttons on a base attached to the console by a wire” which gave it a very basic setup as compared to today’s standards (Cummings).
