The great responsibility of making tough decisions that impact policy and contribute to the success of our fighting force is what I desire. I will contribute to any wardroom the many lessons in leadership that I have learned serving under exemplary Chiefs and Officers who set the bar high throughout my career. I enlisted with the intentions of gaining the experience necessary to become an effective Naval Officer and contribute my value to fleet leadership. My goal has always been to grow as a professional and most importantly to serve my fellow shipmates as a leader. My sailors will understand the importance of how to conduct business on a daily basis. Personal connection that i make with peers through mutual respect and our common drive to accomplish the mission is what makes me an effective leader. I am passionate about making a difference and have proven through superior performance, technical expertise and leadership that I am ready to become a U.S. Naval Officer.

The Navy core values are a part of my daily decision making process inside and outside my home and place of work. These values are not just a guideline but rather a way of life. I encourage the sailors that I work alongside to not only live by these virtues but also hold themselves and each other accountable for applying them.

Honor is living by a code of professional conduct and unbreakable integrity. An honorable leader is one that maintains a humble and selfless attitude, while confident and firm in their decision making. One must be consistent in following through with their word and lead their sailors through challenging times. Honor is doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.
