Despite all of Naruto's setbacks, he managed to defy all of the odds with his immense perseverance. I picked Naruto as the character of this paper because he has been a part of my life for ten years. Naruto has taught me a lot about how you can overcome any obstacle in life if you work hard and do not give up. Naruto is from a tv show called “Naruto”. Naruto is a character with a lot of depth. He has a lot of setbacks which one might think would make him less likely to overcome his challenges, but it was all his setbacks that made him into who he is today. Growing up, Naruto had no family or friends and he struggled in school. I know what it is like to feel like you have no friends. Naruto has experienced a lot of isolation as well as a lot of hardships. He would do whatever it took to get attention because no one gave him any. For example he might spray paint an important statue in the village in order to get yelled at by his teacher. In the first episode, Naruto proves to the world that he is more determined and hard working than anyone else on the planet. Naruto’s first step to becoming Hokage is advancing to the first rank and to do that he has to be able to perform a certain attack. On the day of the test, Naruto fails to perform the attack correctly for the third year in a row, everyone else passed and had parents waiting outside of the school to congratulate them, and Naruto had failed and had no one to console him. Naruto went to a swing a little ways from the school and was given more negative things to worry about as students looked at Naruto with disgust while whispering “isn’t he the one who has the beast in him?”, and the other students made sure to stay away from
