Helping others isn’t about changing them or their problems. It is about helping them find ways to improve themselves so that they are able to modify the situation or behavior. It is about motivating, encouraging, and inspiring one enough for them to want better for themselves. Helping others - whether small, unplanned acts or regular volunteering - is a powerful way to boost our own happiness as well of those around us. It not only good for them and a good thing to do, it also makes us healthier too. Help is given freely of my own choice, I owe no one ! And it's not all about money - we can also give our time, ideas, skills, attention, and energy. Sometimes these mean as much, if not more, than financial gifts. Giving to others may help you build stronger social connections and even jump start a cascade of generosity through your community. When we see someone do something kind or thoughtful, or we are on the receiving end of kindness, it inspires us to be kinder ourselves. In this way, kindness spreads from one person to the next, influencing the behaviour of people who never saw the original act. Write a brief paper addressing: What is my philosophy of helping? Aiding and teaching them techniques to help with their day-to-day tasks creates a more satisfying, fulfilling life.
